A: The speaker has an IP67 rating which will protect it from splashes of water and being submerged in water for short periods. Please be aware that long term use in a steamy environment is not recommended.

Sound and build quality is great, easy to carry around but still have battery drain during power off and not in use as many people complain. Is that a design and engineering failure or software bug. Hopefully resolve in next firmware update!

I brought this to replace a speaker I have owned for a few years, it has just shown me that other speakers just don’t sound right, the pure sound allows me to hear music like it is supposed to be heard, it fills my bungalow and garden with a great sound and I can hear parts of songs o have never heard before

Got it about a month ago. Have casually used it once in a while around the house and once for a few hours at a get together. The sound quality is great. Puts out some bass which is a nice surprise for such a small speaker. My only complaint so far is that the other day when I turned it in the speaker said it was at 60%. I used it for a few hours and it still said it was at 60%. I charged it for hours, still 60%. I looked online how to do a reset on the speaker by holding the - and + volume buttons for 15sec. Reset unit. Still 60%. So I’m not sure what the deal is. It works, but it would be nice to know if in fact the batteries are only holding 60% charge of if there something else faulty going on with it. Disappointing.

Please bear in mind that Battery run-time depends on what type of audio being played and the volume at which it is being played. Playback time may be reduced by several hours when the product is used continuously at a high volume level while streaming audio over Bluetooth. High intensity, heavy rock music, or music with a lot of bass will consume more power at a high volume level. I generally love my Bose products. This is my 4th Bose bluetooth speaker not including the handphones and home theatre speakers. There is one thing that is super annoying with this speaker and it drives me crazy. When trying to listen to music is the volume increments are not uniform - or the scale is in reverse - with large jumps at the lower volume with unnoticeable differences at the higher volumes. Example, if volume has 10 levels, adjusting from level 2 to level 3 going from 10% to 35% max volume but going from level 8 to level 9 feels like 90% to 92% and is indistinguishable. For this, I cannot recommend the speaker. The speaker sounds great but the poor firmware makes it feel more like a knock off noname speaker with a nice case and not the finese expected with Bose brand.
