At first I was sceptical that the sound quality and volume would not be that impressive - I was totally wrong ! What a fantastic piece of kit. Strong bass, detailed mid and high range and the capability to fill a decent sized room with glorious sound. The battery lasts for over 11 hours at relatively high volumes. It looks and feels like a substantial feat of engineering. I love it, where I go it goes. The bonus is the app which features a graphic equaliser. I’m just so glad that I purchased the SoundLink Max. Thank you once again Bose.

I have a number of Bose speakers, including two S1 Pros and this little power box is not embarrassed in that company. Deep rich bass and good mid-tones and high notes. The perfect travel speaker. Can easily fill a fair-sized room. Well made with quality materials. Very happy.

I have had the sound link for two weeks now sound is as good as my sound bar . We have it connected to a iPhone and an android. Also have the Bose app but for some reason it won’t connect to alexia. Will see if my son can do it for me looking to get the Bose amplifier for my son as he does gigs

Battery life isn’t 20 hours at 75%. Other than that it’s an amazing sounding speaker, worth it if you’re looking for quality sound/bass and portable. This thing is a mini stereo.

The sound is generally good although I don't like it because it is forced with bad speakers, passive radiators and a DSP chip. But ok. The sound over 50% has distortions. I wish it had a WiFi connection.
