While our Standard filters don't claim to remove microplastics, our Elite pour-through, Elite faucet mount, and Hub systems are certified to reduce microplastics (defined by NSF/ANSI 401 as particles from 0.5 to 1 micron) as well as PFOA and PFOS. I love this Brita pitcher and water filter! The filtration performance is great, and the water always tastes way better than it does out of the tap. It is the perfect size and I only have to fill it up every few days. It is made of super strong plastic and I expect it to last a long time.

The water is more bitter or has some aftertaste that is not pleasant to my palette. Some people swear by the pitcher, but I haven't had that sort of luck.

I have been a Brita pitcher user for well over 10 years and wouldn’t use anything else. Also my daughter and I lived together for a few years. The water in our state is awful so we didn’t want her puppy drinking that water either so I purchase another Brita xtra large dispenser.

These are super vital to keeping the water in your Brita water pitcher crisp and filtered. They are super easy to install and seem to last a good 2-3 months before indicating they need replacing. The water does come out noticeably better tasting.
