Q: Will this pitcher work with my Kirkland filter cartridges? Have a box left, pitcher isn't working, both are discontinued. Box states "Fits in most pitchers from Brita." Want to use what I have left.
A: Thank you for contacting us at Brita, and we’re happy to answer your question about using non-Brita Filters with our Denali Pitcher. We can't guarantee that they'd fit properly because the reservoirs in our pitchers are designed specifically for Brita filters and haven't been tested with competitive products. We hope this helps. If you have any additional questions, please give us a call at 800-242-7482 with reference number 230602-000219. Thanks again. Alexandrea from The Brita Team

Q: Does this Brita filter out micro plastics?
A: Hello there, and thanks so much for asking. No, our Standard filter in our Denali Pitcher doesn't claim to remove/reduce microplastics. However, our Elite pour-through, Elite faucet mount and Hub systems are certified to reduce microplastics (defined by NSF/ANSI 401 as particles from 0.5 to 1 micron) as well as PFOA and PFOS. We hope this helps, and if you have any further questions, contact us at 800-242-7482. Have a hydrated day! Jeffery from The Brita Team

Q: I can’t get the indicator to work on the next fill up after it’s reset.
A: Thanks for reaching out, Susie. We're sorry to hear the filter indicator on our Denali Pitcher isn’t working as expected. Let’s try these quick steps: Reset the Indicator – Press and hold the “STATUS” button on the lid for about 5–10 seconds until the lights flash. Check Lid Placement – Make sure the lid is securely on the pitcher, then fill it fully and pour it out once to help trigger the sensor. Battery Life – If you’ve had the pitcher for a while, the built-in battery may be low. It’s not replaceable, but the pitcher will still filter properly. Tap to Reconnect – Try gently tapping or twisting the lid in case the sensor needs a nudge to reconnect. If the issue continues, we’re happy to help further. Just give us a call at 800‑242‑7482 and mention reference number #250724‑000373. Looking forward to your call. Jeffery from The Brita Team

Q: Does the indicator light require a battery? Can it be submerged in soap & water to wash?
A: Al, thanks for asking about this. The timer does have a irreplaceable battery, and we don't recommend submerging it on soap and water. Here are a few tips for cleaning your Brita pitcher. -Be sure to remove the filter from the reservoir. -Hand-wash your pitcher, lid, and reservoir with a mild detergent and rinse them well. -Do not put your pitcher in the dishwasher or use abrasive cleaners. (Brita pitchers are not dishwasher safe.) -For best results when cleaning Chrome pitcher lids, wipe with a soft sponge soaked in a solution of one teaspoon of vinegar in a cup of water. If you have more questions, contact us again at 800-242-7482. Have a wonderful day! Jeffery from The Brita Team

Q: We have received a letter from IEPA. PFAS levels are high. Wil your filters be any good?
A: Thank you for reaching out about this, Craig. We truly understand your concern regarding PFAS, and want to give you some insight. Our Standard Filter is designed to reduce contaminants such as chlorine (taste and odor), mercury, copper, and cadmium. However, it isn't currently certified to reduce PFAS. If you're specifically looking to reduce PFAS in their drinking water, we recommend considering our Brita Elite Filter, which is NSF/ANSI 53 certified to reduce select PFAS contaminants, including PFOA and PFOS, when used with compatible pitchers such as our Denali Pitcher. If you have more questions, reach out to us again at 800-242-7482. Have a hydrated day! Jeffery from The Brita Team
