My child al.ost lost his right eye because he accidentally landed on my old metal straw. I bowed to find a more safer alternative. I watched an honest tumbler review and loved the benefit of brumate! Silicone straw making it safe for any car ride bumps, danger prone kids, and wobbly adults! The seal is awesome! I had my cup just laying next to my bed at night and completely seals the coolness even on the kept day! The clean up is tricky, but the 100 leack proof, safe silicone straw makes it all worth the clean up! This is my second brumate tumbler I'm buying. I highly recommend it! Once you go brumate, you'll never want to go with any other brands!

Even after 24 hours there is still ice! And the even better part is I never have a spill now. I have had several people ask me "Are those really leak proof" so I flip it upside down and shake it to prove it truly is leakproof. I have gotten rid of every other brand mug I had. I will never purchase any mug other than Brumate again.

Has more of a a pinkish-purple hue in person that makes it appear less attractive. Hard to describe the shade really. Go with the Lilac Dusk, better choice indeed.

Those that say this cup leaks must have a defective cup. I've had mine for couple of years now and not one leak. The leakproof-ness of this cup is why I bought it in the first place and it has not disappointed me. Where the design needs improvement is in the total weight, weight distribution and assembly/disassembly. This thing is HEAVY empty so imagine what it weighs with 40oz of fluid in it. It goes into the car and stays there. Sadly I needed a cup I could carry around. I would strongly recommend the 30oz. if this s an issue for you. Secondly, it dents and scratches more easily than advertised which was disappointing. Lastly, its s process to take this cup apart to clean it. The magnetic straw part is quite difficult to separate from lid itself. Good quality, well made. Still a decent cup for the price.
