It works really well on cracked and chapped heels or lips. There no scent. It’s a petroleum jelly texture. The packaging is okay. It also works really quick.

I have aged thin skin from the back of my hands to my elbows. I bruise easily. Every night before bed I use this marvelous healing ointment on my hands and arms. It not only gently protects my skin, it helps keep the brushing under control. It's fantastic for aged skin.

I really like this product and formula. It is just like vaseline but a little thicker and blends easier. I got it in a tube for though and it was extremely tough to get it out of the tube since it is so thick.

This stuff is everything you ever hoped and dreamed it would be. I use it for EVERYTHING from dry feet to slugging. If I have chapped lips I use this ointment. I put a layer on my feet over a good lotion and then a pair of bamboo socks and go to bed only to wake up with super soft feet. My boyfriend is a commercial painter and he uses some horrible chemicals without gloves and this fixes his peeling, red, and painful hands that no longer have fingerprints until this ointment heals them. I recommend this to everyone. It’s also a wonderful skin barrier for your baby when they have a diaper rash. Winter dry patches don’t stand a chance with this around. I even keep a tube in my purse. Go get some. You definitely need it.

My skin thanks me every day for using this ointment. My skin barrier was completely dried out from using overly harsh product. So to soothe it, I applied this ointment in a thick layer every night. It locks in moisture so well that I wake up with plump, hydrated skin. It’s become an essential in my skincare routine!

This night repair balm is one of the best I've tried. Thanks to its fast effectiveness, the skin on my hands is repaired and hydrated in a matter of hours. It's helped me a lot since my hands are dry and prone to cracking. However, thanks to this balm, my hands look healthy. It contains three essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid that instantly restore the skin barrier. The texture is oily and takes a while to absorb, so the product isn't perfect. It has a light fragrance without perfume.

I strongly do not recommend this product. It’s by far the worst thing I’ve ever bought for this price. It’s basically overpriced Vaseline with no moisturizing effect or any visible results. Very disappointing! I had tried a few CeraVe products before and liked them, but after this fraud, I won’t be buying anything from this brand again. To me, Vaseline feels even less greasy and sticky, more like a gel, while this is just pure sticky grease. Ugh!

While there are several other CeraVe products I use and LOVE, I don’t understand the hype about this one. You may as well buy a tube of Vaseline for less $$$. It does the same thing. Not a fan of the squeeze tubing because it is SUPER hard to get the product to come out. And especially hard if it is even slightly cold.

Cerave healing ointment is a LIFESAVER! I cannot recommend this stuff enough. If you’ve ever had a child with chapped, red cheeks in the winter, use this. Immediately. It has given so much relief to my kids, I’m so thankful I found it. I’ve also used it on my son’s eczema on his legs and it clears up the rough patches. The consistency is like that of petroleum jelly, and is fairly unscented. But it is thick and leaves a slight residue on your hands, but I would expect that from a product like this. Because you don’t need it all the time, or in massive quantities, it lasts forever!
