A: This unit does not, in fact, beep. The only sound it makes is the soft mechanical click of the automatic shut-off activating. I've used this kettle almost every day for an entire year, love it!

I heat water throughout the day in my current 1.8 L kettle. I hoped this smaller version would be a good replacement, but I'm not convinced. The first time I boiled water a hair under the 1L max line, the kettle boiled the water out of the pot onto the counter and floor. The second and third times it did not do that, which was great. However, even if the water in the kettle is cold, it takes a long time to be able to boil again as I guess the heating element registers the plate or bottom as too hot? Would recommend for someone who occassionally drinks hot water. Or someone who is okay with no more than two serving cups per boil. And someone who doesn't mind waiting a bit between boils. E.g., would not be good for parties.

It's as close to perfect for it's price point as it can be. I was able to boil a .05 L of water in less than 3m! Plus, it's stops auto-magically once the water has a rolling boil. I didn't leave the room but I could have, which nice. 👍🏾 It's worth $40 in my opinion. I bought it for less $20 so I compelled to leave a review. I only use it to make my instant cup of coffee. This kettle is my go-to for getting it done immediately. I highly recommend -- if you wantt to be excited about boiling water.

The cap separate from in two the 1st week! It is still functional but no for events where it needs to be presentable. That was the purpose so unusable for what I needed.

First, the fact that it is made of glass is AWESOME!!! I love natural products and that sold me. It is compact, lightweight and oh so fast, yes in 3 minutes, I can start a hot cuppa tea...hubby can have his coffee just as fast. We are both Happy first thing in the morning. Can your day start any better after you open your eyes and give thanks! The Blue lights are a double plus, so cute too. Great job CHEFMAN....THANKS I will be perusing your other items.
