    Looks great, but build it with a partner and expec

    I’m hoping this bed lasts us at least 10+ years, and once it’s set up, it really does look great in the room. That said, the assembly process was a headache. I put it together entirely by myself, and I definitely wouldn't recommend doing it solo—get a second person to help! The manual relies almost entirely on pictures and numbers with barely any actual written instructions, which made things way harder than they needed to be. m A couple of design choices felt a bit odd to me once it was built. The stairs only attach to the bed frame with 3 brackets along a single post, which doesn't feel super secure. The stair steps are also really high—I'd guess at least a foot tall each, which is a bit of a climb. On the bright side, safety-wise, it’s solid. I bought a 5-inch foam mattress, and there is still plenty of guardrail sticking up above it. It does wiggle whenever someone moves around on top, but overall, it’s a good-looking bed—just be prepared for a tricky build and a little frame movement.

I received two conflicting manuals (one for the frame and one for the stairs) that didn't cover my exact model. Unclear steps, mislabeled parts, and misaligned holes left several areas missing screws. Assembling this alone was a major challenge. Great final product, but terrible instructions!

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The instructions were clear and it was fairly easy to put together. The only problem we had was with installing the railing for the stairs. The majority of the holes did not line up. I also don’t like how there is nothing securing the bottom of the stairs to the frame of the bed. They can swivel a bit even after the brackets on the back were installed. I may add a bracket of my own to secure it.

    The bed we received is

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bed we received is fine however I intentionally sought out a bed with stairs vs a ladder because I was worried about my grandson going down a ladder in the middle of the night. My problem is that a standard riser on stairs is 7" give or take. The riser on these stairs double that. It's very strange. It is a giant step up each stair and a giant step down on each stair. It was awkward for me when I climbed up to make the bed. With shorter legs it's going to be even more awkward. There should be more stairs added. I'm rethinking the ladder.

    Two places I felt frustration

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Two places I felt frustration with this experience: 1. Communication- I ordered one product, but all communication after the fact denoted two separate items. I thought there was an error at some point. It would be better if the two items were communicated as under the single product I ordered. 2. Quality - there’s a visible dent on one of the boards. It’s not worth the effort to replace it, but it is disappointing. Also it’s not as sturdy as I would have hoped for a full size bed with a ten-plus, soon to be teenager using it. It’s not like I bought one of your low-end options either- it was just a bit disappointing.
