leaves an awful sticky residue on hair that it's been applied to, and doesn't even really refresh it. the brown dye got on my forehead and then my fingers when i tried to run my hands through my hair. by far the worst dry shampoo i've ever used

it gets the job done, but the fragrance is very strong. I can't touch my hair once it's in or I'll get it under my fingernails. I probably won't buy this brand again unless I can't find a brand that covers my thinning hair.

We camp a lot and my daughters and I love this stuff for our camper. It’s a staple in our house and our camper! My daughters also keep it in their cheer bags. It holds you over for a day when you don’t have time to wash your hair or just need to freshen up! The smell is also amazing!!

It's not something you can easily control. Unless you hold a piece of paper to cover your forehead, you'll get what looks like dirty smudge spots on your forehead. Also the scent of it is a bit much, I don't necessarily like a hair product to compete with a fragrance. Ended up returning it.

I think this made my hair extra greasy. Does not work at all.

This is a great dry shampoo for brunettes -- no chalky appearance. It actually works, and goes a long way. This is a big can and the price cant be beat - I originally tried it because it was the cheapest one on the shelf! I was so pleasantly surprised that I will make it my regular. It smells really nice, too - not overpowering. Highly reccommend!

Not meant for fine here, leaves a very sticky, almost hairspray like residue. Also washes out the brown in the water when you wash your hair.

Smells great and does what it needs to. I love it.

My hair was still dirty after applying liberally. My hair was also tangled. The brown was very ashy and hard to blend in.

Was a little worried after reading some of the reviews but I’m glad I did before passing judgement. I have very thin hair and a few grey hairs. It gave me the look and cover up I was looking for. It didn’t leave my hair oily. I have used other high end dry shampoos but this gave me the lift and cover up I was going for. I will definitely purchase again in the future

I’ve been on the lookout for dry shampoo for dark hair that isn’t Batiste (which I love, but the cost has increased so high). I like this dry shampoo. Not sure why so many are surprised there is color in it (it states this on the packaging) or why it is getting all over their hands/other items. It has some color in it and you’ll have to spray it understanding that.

This dry shampoo stained my hands and scalp. I touched my head during the day and then my face not realizing it left residue on my face. I also had to continue to add the dry shampoo throughout the day, it wasn’t very effective.

This is by far the worst dry shampoo I’ve ever used. It stains your scalp and fingers when you touch your hair, leaving behind a messy brown residue. Despite brushing multiple times, my hair felt crunchy, chalky, and matted—completely the opposite of what a dry shampoo is supposed to do. It didn’t absorb oil effectively and left my hair feeling so unpleasant that I had to wash it three times with a clarifying shampoo just to get rid of the awful sensation. I usually use Batiste, which works great, but decided to try this brand because it was cheaper. Big mistake—I’ll be returning this and sticking with Batiste from now on.

It worked for me but it stained my hands black, so Its not useful unless you can guarantee that its not going to get on your clothes or anything else

It makes my hair feel sticky and chalky and does not really soak up any oils (my hair is fine and straight). I usually wash my hair every other day/2 days but this doesn’t help my hair’s oiliness at all. Very disappointed in the product. Wish I would have returned it earlier.

This product should honestly be off the shelves. I had used the Dark dry shampoo multiple times to see if it is a true error. First off, I have thin hair so I use dark color dry shampoos to hide any noticeable thinness. This product does little to no effect, no matter how many times I shake the bottle. It builds up on the nozzle which I have to clean out quite a bit. There were a few rare time when I bought a can and it actually worked. I do notice my hair to get more greasy throughout the day plus some itchiness here and there. But most importantly, inhaling the spray (of course not intentionally) is the most concerning. I can be doing my hair then spraying this dry shampoo at the recommended distance but still end up the product being in my nostrils. For a time I noticed that my boogies were brown-black like if I was breathing bad air. I didn’t know why I having that issue until I caught on it was occurring after I would use the dark dry shampoo. With any other dark brand I have not had that happen. It’s truly sickening and if you do try it or use it constantly, please wear a mask to avoid inhaling this product.

DO NOT put this in your hair, ever. First, it doesn't even work to prevent your hair from looking oily, it doesn't matter how much you use. Second, this stuff makes your hair SO greasy & sticky, I'm almost POSITIVE it caused a major build up of bacteria in my follicles, it's nasty. Third, & I cannot stress this enough, it WILL leave your hair feeling TACKY to the touch; yes, STICKY. I have no idea what would possess a company to approve a product so void of value & use & pass it off as "dry shampoo", but this is NOT it. I'm not exaggerating either, it's terrible. You couldn't pay me to put this back in my hair.

Stains your hands and fingers. Once I noticed it stains I didn't dare to use it with anything other than dark colored clothing. Also, not great at masking oily hair. Wanted to love it so it'll mask my grays but I'll stick to my usual dove brand.

This might not leave residue in your hair but what a mess on my dark top. Covered in white/grey powder. Had to change and it needed washing cos product wouldn't brush off.
