A: No, it does not. The "cool" setting is warm. So if you want the air to actually feel cool you have to press -and HOLD- the cold shot button. It's a pain. I am returning it for this very reason. I have very fine, thin hair and need a dryer that actually blows cool air without my thumb getting so fatigued that I have to keep pausing and resting my hand just to get my hair dry.

Waste of money
The only thing that I liked about this hair dryer was the color. Otherwise, complete waste of money. I had the infiniti pro for 10 years and thought this would be similar. Boy was I wrong. The first thing that I noticed was that I felt like I was going to break this hair dryer into 1000 pieces if I dropped it once. The material is a very cheap quality plastic. When I turned it on, it does get hot eventually but the air pressure is so low it actually makes hotel hair dryers look good. Unless you have the thinnest hair in the world or 2 hours free in your day to dry your hair, just move on and find a different hair dryer.

Concentrator is annoying
The dryer does a great job at its purpose—drying my hair. I like the flow of air, and the power. But the concentrator attachment turn in the barrel the entire time I use the dryer, making it very difficult to blow my hair properly. Now it is constantly falling out multiple times a drying session. It’s so bad that the concentrator falls out after barely touching it.

Does Not Get Hot and Weak Air Stream
I have long, thick hair. This hair dryer absolutely does not work for me at all. The air never gets hot - the highest setting only produces warm air, and I am not able to dry my hair. I had to use my round brush dryer to finish drying my hair. Also, the stream of air is weak compared to other hairdryers that I have owned that are also 1875, so again, it takes forever to get the hair even slightly dry. On a positive note, the dryer is light and easy to handle. The attachment is nice and the color is a nice white color. Overall, I absolutely would not waste your money on this dryer. I went ahead and purchased a different Conair dryer (Conair AC Motor Hair Dryer - Orange) and it is GREAT. Do not waste your money on this weak, warm dryer.

If you like limp hair, this is the dryer for you
I've never liked hair dryers with "ion technology" and would never have chosen this dryer for myself, but I received it as a gift. I was willing to give it a try, but, as I suspected, I don't like it. It makes my hair feel like I haven't washed it. It's just gross. No matter what I do, I can't get any volume. My hair looks flat and limp, even when I use styling products. Conditioning ions make work for someone with really dry or frizzy hair, but it's not for me.

The only thing I like about it is that it’s lightweight. It is loud, the concentrator comes off easily , and of course worst of all it makes my hair poofy instead of sleek

its ok
It's a hair dryer, nothing fancy. I gave it 3 stars because the clear peices falls off constantly - at least 3 times during every use, and it gets HOT so its a pain to put back on - would not buy again.

Take a chance its worth it
I love the sleek feel and color. The cap comes off to get the lint out. The drying speeds are great & it heats up really well. I don’t know what kind of huge bathrooms you have that you find the cord short but I had no issue.
