It has a smooth texture, not sticky at all, and is not heavily scented. The color was enough to be seen but not too intense for daytime wear, and my lips did not get chapped after wearing this all day.

It’s soft but a little patchy when applying so you kind of have to go over it a little to get a good application. It does have a subtle scent that I enjoyed. Decent product for the price point and it being drug store cosmetics

It goes on super smooth and the color shows up nicely with just one swipe the color is absolutely beautiful it’s nicely pigmented. The texture feels soft and comfortable, not heavy or drying at all. I also like that the scent is light and not too strong. The packaging is cute and sturdy, easy to toss in my bag. Definitely a shade I’ll be wearing a lot!

On my lips, it looks really natural like a “my lips but better” color - which makes it perfect for no makeup days or even when I’m heading to the office and want something subtle yet polished. The texture is super lightweight and comfortable, it doesn’t feel heavy or dry at all. I love how it gives a blurred, soft-matte finish that still feels hydrating. Honestly, it’s one of those shades you can just swipe on without a mirror and still look put together. If you’re an office going girlie or someone who prefers minimal makeup, this lipstick is a great pick.

It’s basically like MLBB, which ifykyk, aka, My Lips But Better. It smells so nice and doesn’t taste bad! lol, I think we all have eaten some lipstick by accident and the taste is usually god awful! But this one isn’t bad, just a little sweet. As you can see before I applied it, my lips were a bit chapped but even just swiping it on, it covered up most of it. The color is beautiful and perfect for an everyday look. I love how soft it is, even though I’m more of a lipstick bottle kinda gal, I’m okay with this one being in the original container. It doesn’t last as long but considering the softness and pigmentation I consider more akin to a more buttery lip tint. It does tint your lips and even if most of it goes away by the end of the day you can tell you still have some on. Overall, thanks covergirl!! I will be sure to recommend this to everyone I know and going to buy more as well.

I can apply without a lip liner or other colors and it give me a natural look. The coverage is lightweight but beautiful and it came in good packaging. I will be purchasing all the other shades of this product real soon!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cover girl lipstick is like a better version of Glossier generation g lipstick at half the cost. The color I received (Hunny Blur) is a “black honey” universally flattering plum that applies so beautifully and evenly. You do need to make sure that your lips are moisturized bc the matte formula accentuates dry, flaky patches. But it feels so cushy and smooth to wear, and the scent is a delicious light fruity floral.

The texture is very pillowy soft - like nothing I’ve ever used before. Once applied, the matte finish is very long lasting. It has a fruity floral scent that I don’t love but it dissipates quickly.
