This electric gooseneck kettle is stylish and easy to use addition to you kitchen. It has a nice matte black finish and gooseneck spout gives it a modern look. It looks cool enough to keep on your counter rather than in a cabinet. The temperature control features easy to use, allowing you to heat water to the exact degree required for your favorite brew, whether it's tea, pour-over coffee, oatmeal, or a noodle cup. The slender gooseneck makes it easy to achieve a controlled, consistent pour, which, if you’re a bit of a coffee aficionado, is essential for proper extraction when making a pour over. It's marketed as a "smart" appliance, but it thankfully does not require you to use the associated app. Many "smart" devices require an app for basic functionality, which can be frustrating for those who prefer straightforward operation. This kettle, however, easily works with the controls on the kettle base. You can set the temperature, start, and stop the heating process directly from the base without ever needing to use the app. So, this is a good choice for users who like the advanced features of a “smart” appliance or someone who likes a simple to use appliance that only requires you to press a few buttons. Ultimately, this kettle is well-designed, easy to use, and reliable appliance. The kettle was easy to set up and worked really fast. The water was very hot and stayed hot for a while. The instructions said you could make coffee in it, but there was no filter for anything like that in the box. We did not have any tea at the time so we made hot chocolate and and it was fantastic. I liked the different settings, and you did not even need the app.

Overall, I really like this smart electric gooseneck kettle. The size of the kettle is decent and I appreciate the presets and temperature control, as well as that it's a smart product and you can download the app. The kettle heats water very quickly; however, I expected better capacity. This kettle only fills the size of one and one half coffee cups. I'd prefer capacity to fill at least two coffee cups.
