Worst kettle. Poor design. After 2 uses the handle melted and the plastic around spout melted. After a week the whistle stopped working. Only nice thing about this is the size.

We are not obsessed with the tea and not using this kettle everyday 1000 times. So we max use it 2 times a day and despite very stylish design it not lasts us 2 weeks. Black enamel cracked out within first week and lead gets oxidized and it’s simply not safe to use for your health. Steal is super thin so I don’t know how long it would be to an actual leaking. Super sad - we thought we have found stylish stainless steel kettle for our evening tea time(. Have to return it

Mostly great, but coating on bottom is a flaw
Likes: As described, lightweight, whistles, easy to open without getting burned, looks nice. I've had this several months and accidentally kept it on the hot stove without water in it for a minute. This is user error, so not a product defect, but the the bottom is coated or painted black just like the sides, and now that is.coming off and left a terrible smell. Going forward, I will purchase tea kettle without a coating on the bottom.
