Cuisinart 1.7L Caskata PerfecTemp Cordless Programmable Stainless Steel Electric Kettle Silver CPK-17P1CK: Adjustable Temperature, Anti-Scale Filter

I bought this kettle three years ago and has 2 good years of use. However, the lid began to get stuck and now won’t open. I also noticed rust started to develop around the lid rim. I’m disappointed that it didn’t last longer and now the price has gone up $60 from what I originally paid.

I really am impressed. This is by far the best water kettle I have ever bought. My wife and I enjoy that we can have our coffee just the right temp that each of us can enjoy.

Bought new a few years ago. Worked as advertised for a couple years. Now the unit has started boiling uncontrollably even if no buttons are pressed. In searching online, I see that this failure mode is so common as to be nearly inevitable, leading to enormous risks when the unit fails to stop heating. I do not recommend buying this dangerous kettle.

Works as promised. Heating 1.7L to 200 degrees using cold tap water takes about 6.5 minutes. Control settings and water level window work well. There is a feeling of quality that is missing in its competitors. Hoping its longevity justifies the price.

The kettle works great and looks very pretty. It has several settings for different types of teas. Very happy with my purchase

Made so good and heats to a boil super fast as I’m always in a hurry as I take tea to work at 5:30am and it is a game changer for the better. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Goodbye tea kettle - hello electric kettle! After visiting a friend who had one, I knew the cordless electric kettle is perfect for me too. I use a variety of teas that each require a different temperature of hot water and steep times. I still have to be mindful of how long it's been steeping but no longer have to guess on the water temperature. The temperature remains constant to allow for an additional cup of tea should I want that. The water gauge lets me make enough hot water when company is over too. To reduce the odds of scale developing inside after cleaning and wiping it, I prop it open upside down so it can dry thoroughly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This electric kettle is awesome. It has 6 temperature setting according to what you are boiling. The dials light up. It boils your content fast, then keeps the temperature for 30 minutes. Best kettle ever!

Good product for different settings. The only thing I dislike is the unrecoverable lid which makes it difficult to clean the inside of the kettle.

This kettle works well and is easy to use. Also it looks nice. It heats the water for my green tea just right, no more guessing! I'm glad I bought it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kettle to replace a Cuisinart coffee maker I have had since March of 2013. The coffee maker still worked well, but it developed a slight leak. Since I only drink tea now, I thought the kettle would be a better choice for me. I am very happy with the various temperature settings. I do wish there was an option to set the length of time it stays on. Thirty minutes is a short time for me. But it does reheat quickly. I really wish you could program the on time. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this electric kettle and have been using it daily for a few weeks. I’m a bit disappointed with the fat clunky handle and spout. Also, some of the settings (green tea) don’t turn off. I have to unplug the unit. I haven’t tried the automatic turn off after five minutes feature, because I don’t want it to stay on if that feature doesn’t work.

The correct temperature settings for different types of teas actually did make a difference in their taste. The large capacity has been great for when company is over. I have not found it to be too heavy to pour when full as some other reviews I read before buying noted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Cuisinart products but this one is a disappointment. I loved my previous teapot and bought this one because I loved my last one so much. I find this one does not heat up as quickly which isn't a big drawback but it is extremely noisy when heating up. It is cumbersome to fill with water due to the narrow opening and I cannot see the fill line.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent kettle, fast working with a great range of presets for a wide variety of teas and beverages. I find the unit to be heavy, which makes it awkward to lift and maneuver. I personally find it's best to not fill it to capacity.
