Cuisinart Coffee on Demand 12 Cup Programmable Coffee Maker

The quality is second to none. Started with a competitors brand but after replacing that brand 3 times I bought this unit. Perfect in all features and ease of making great coffee. Highly recommend this coffee station.

It has been many years with each one and it still beats out others I was looking to purchase. Best features are the removable water container, as my sink is behind where I make my coffee, the enclosed thermo container keeps the coffee hot for hours without tasting cooked and the "one cup at a time" dispenser is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this product before and loved it. We decided to go with a dual machine to brew a pot and single serve, “pod” style option. (It was not a cuisinart brand.). We hated it and have now gone back to our favorite. Easy operation, many features and keeps the coffee so HOT for at least 3 hours (that’s how long we have the delay turn off set). We will always have this coffee station in our home!!

Replaced defective unit under warranty. 2 weeks with the new unit the clean light came on. Ran the clean cycle twice and the clean light came back on the next day. Love the on demand feature but this product is plagued with defects.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had 3 of these over many, many years because they are so easy to use and make a good pot of coffee. 7 days a week it makes coffee for us quickly and easily. I recommend it as all you do is place your cup under the little spout and filler up just like a gas pump. There is a gauge that shows the amount left after each cup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this coffee maker. The reservoir keeps the coffee hot (stable temp) and is relatively easy to keep clean. It makes a full 12 cups in less than 10 minutes with a cup at our fingertips within 2 minutes or less. The light at the dispenser is a really nice touch.

Love a couple newer features (to us that is) - lighted serving area, the water filter, ease of changing the filter, intuitive controls, and most important as it sits under our brand new kitchen cabinets, lack of any steam or moisture above the brewing time.

I have had this model for years. The most recent one (purchased in November) was nothing but problems. The machine would brew even set on auto brew for the morning. Every few pots it wanted to be cleaned. Then it wasn't brewing the full pot. It would have to be turned off & back on as many as 3 times to get the entire pot brewed. I called as it was still under warranty. I thought great it's replaced. The replacement is 1 WEEK OLD and the auto brew feature just brewed the pot (7 p.m. currently) that was set for 4:45 a.m.). Completely fed up that quality seems to have taken a severe nose dive. Disappointed is an understatement after having had several of this model in the last 8-10 years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this unit about a month ago. Have aways used a on demand coffee maker for my morning brew. Only comment is the water storage unit is somewhat clumsy. Otherwise great and would buy again.

I was hoping for better considering that I absolutely love: 1. Removable water reservoir 2. Removable coffee bucket Coffee brewed slightly slow compared to other Cuisinart coffee makers. Coffee wasn’t as hot as should be once you had some creamer. That is a huge disappointment, and also, there is way too much plastic w the heat from coffee. Once you lift the lid the water or droplets from the steam drips behind the machine. It needs a lot of improvements. Machine is huge and if you want to make A LOT of coffee for a big party or group of people, this will be perfect for you, but coffee should be very hot to remain hot and not warm when you use a creamer. Honestly, coffee remaining in the machine for longer time, it will make coffee taste burnt. A bad taste unless you’re going for that first cup of coffee. The heating plate just burns that coffee. Trust me, go for PerfeftTemp 12 cup DCC-3700 thermal carafe coffee maker. Target carries it. It’s a dream that thermal insulated (not glass carafe) keeps coffee hot enough (no need to have hot plate constantly bubbling or burning your coffee), and once creamer added it’s still hot. Plus brews it fast, and no leaks. Not this one.

I like this model becaude it doesn't have the glass pot which has gotten broken in the past by bumping on something or dropping so the lever to pour makes sense for me. I make coffee every morning with it and holds up well, easy to clean, I use the paper filters inside the filter basket. This is the third cuisenart coffer maker I have owned and I like this brand. They iusually last around 5 years or so when the pot where the spring is starts leaking. Instead of replacing the pot I usually buy new.
