Plug cord into outlet. 2. Remove lid from base of grinder. 3. Fill stainless steel bowl with desired quantity of beans (see measurement suggestions on reverse.) For best results, do not fill beans above the top of the stainless steel bowl. 4. Place the lid onto grinder base. 5. Press and hold On/Off button to begin grinding. Please note: A safety feature of this grinder requires that the grinder will not operate unless the lid is in place. 6. Grind until beans are ground to desired consistency (see grinding suggestions on reverse.) To stop grinding, release pressure from On/Off button. 7. Remove plug from outlet. 8. Measure ground coffee into coffeemaker filter using scoop (not included), tablespoon or lid measure
