Love this! So easy to use and love the safety feature to protect hands. My Grandbabies now can help without fear of being cut. Cleaning is very simple and stores very well without taking up much room. Highly recommend!

This is such a time saver for slicing my veggies, only thing is, sometimes they fly all over, and if your item your slicing isntoo small, the pieces get stuck and its really hard to clean, its still is better than the regular mandolins amd much more safer.

I have developed overuse injury on my wrist and fingers over the years. The occupational therapist reassured me I could still cook. And bake but I needed to rethink how I see my hands when buying, carrying, and preparing food. He gave me many tips. I started to look for ways to slice, dice, chop things. There are so many in the market. I never took to the classic mandolins. When I was doing my online search, I came across this Cuisinart upright mandolin. I’m so glad I found it. Now, I’m back to preparing meals again. And with far less discomfort or pain! Thank you for this, Cuisinart!

I love the mandolin, it's easy to use. The only draw back is cleaning it. I wish it came apart for easier cleaning.

This tool is great! Perfectly slices potatoes with no risk to fingertips. The blade moves instead of the food being sliced. It cleans up easily and stores in a compact unit.

After a trip to the ER for stitches, I figured it was time to find a safer mandoline for my wife. This fits the bill. Great build quality and very safe to use. Blade is sharp and cuts efficiently. Makes short work for anything we have used it for. I feel much better when my wife is using this as opposed to our prior one, which went to the recycle bin!

Makes slicing very easy and fast. Julianne strips are a breeze to make as well. I did not give it a five star rating for the following: The product tends to fly when you slice which makes a little mess. Not too much but a bit. It may just be my way of slicing too fast. Perhaps I need more experience. There is a learning curve. I would like the slice window to be a bit taller so that the Julianne sticks could be longer. It is great to feel my fingers are safe….the process is easy …. And the clean up and storage easy as well.

Easy to use, very sharp blade, light weight with suction cups to keep it steady on your counter. Great for slicing or julienned carrots, cucumbers, radishes etc. I’m using more than I thought I would. Highly recommended.

What an amazing product! So much safer than the usual mandoline. And, it actually works very well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love homemade foodand also love cooking.. i like this product is because 1st thing fingers won’t get cut it which happened with knife always and 2nd I can’t make two cuts in a row the same size with a knife. With this slicer I can make perfect cut and my fingers never come close to the blades and it folds into a smaller piece to store very small area like an apartment or condos.. very easy to use and easy to store.. And it comes with attached brush which we can easily clean.. I always use knife but now since 1 week I'm using this slicer for everything to cut and I love it.. I like how easy it is to use and has different thickness settings for slicing vegetables, cheese, potatoes and basically anything that needs chopping/slicing:). I like that It is sturdy and made with great quality material. So with toddlers in my house, I am worry free. It comes with vegetables pusher so your hand stays safe and container to collect sliced veggies and it fits nicely in its compartment so don't have to worry about using other big enough utensils to put under the chopper. Sliced veggies are pretty much the same texture, size and thickness which is very satisfying. Different settings serves different style of copped veggies we need for cooking. I wholeheartedly recommend it if you are looking for a great kitchen companion :)

I love that it is versatile when it come to the thickness and type of cut it provides. For me this mandoline has been an upgrade to the mandolines that I have used in the past because it doesn’t require for me to switch out the blade in order to change the type of cut or the thickness. It comes with a dial that can be switched from 0-8 depending on the thickness you want and 2 switches that can go on or off depending on whether you want a julienne cut or a flat slice. I like that it is an all in one because having to keep less parts makes it less likely for me to misplace them and lose them. It also makes the cleaning process easier since there are less parts to clean and it comes with a small cleaning brush that gets into the hard to reach places while the back of it can be used to push out any food that may have gotten stuck.

I purchased this mandolin to make baked (purple - Stokes) sweet potato chips; I used to hand slice the potatos. Traditional mandolins don't seem safe to me because your hand is either exposed, or semi-exposed to the blade. Not so, with this device. I felt very safe using it to make thin (controllable thickness) slices, without wasting potato at the end of the job to protect my hands. I felt I had full control over the thickness of the slices. Clean up was easy. Most countertop appliances have no suction and are unstable or too much suction and can't easily be removed from the counter. The suction cups on this device are right in the Goldilocks range, just right.

All the items fit into one piece that lies flat. Suction grippers hold it firmly in place. The blade is securely inside the mandolin. What appeals to me is the on and off sliding switch, giving the options of thick or thin Julienne cuts and flat slices. I like the easy to turn adjustable dial ranging from zero to an increments that add just the thickness of the slices you don’t need to move plates that only give you the options of thick or thin. It comes with a thin brush stick to wipe pieces off the mantle in and it’s easy to clean. I highly recommend this product over all others. If visually enhances the dish and makes it fun and easier to eat healthy foods.

Assembling is easy to understand if you follow the instructions provided. The chopper itself cuts different styles and guides are imprinted on the chopper itself for reference. It comes with a cleaning brush that comes in handy for cleaning the blades and veggies that will get stuck in small crevices. Some veggies end up on the counter while chopping but overall it’s a great help in the kitchen.
