I used to love the previous version of this product. The scent was mild but distinctive, and I actually liked it. This new version has a very strong, perfumy, and cloying smell. It triggers migraines for me, and I can no longer use it. I really wish they would return to the previous version, which I thought was a standout.

It removes stains from clothing, easily gets grease and leftover food off of plates and pans, and is so fresh smelling. The packaging is perfect and dispenses a controlled amount. And of course is something that I will repurchase over and over again. I love it!

This one smells artificially sweet, and it’s not my favorite. Unfortunately for me the new smell takes an otherwise 5 star dish soap to a 3 star.

It claims to cut through grease and stuck on food with less effort, and honestly it delivers. Right from the first use, I noticed how quickly it broke down greasy residue and dried on messes. Whether it was a pan with baked on cheese or a dish with old tomato sauce, it lifted the grime without me having to scrub my arm off. A little really goes a long way, just a small amount lathers up nicely and covers a lot. The scent is clean and fresh, not overpowering, and it rinses off easily without leaving any filmy residue. I also appreciate that it’s gentle on my hands, even after multiple washes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Dawn Original Dishwashing Liquid for years and it continues to be one of the most effective dish soaps out there. The cleaning power is just as strong as it still cuts through grease with minimal effort and works great even on tough, baked-on messes. A little bit goes a long way, and it produces a rich lather that lasts through an entire sink of dishes. I’ve noticed some subtle differences with the newer formula compared to the old one. The scent is a little fresher and lighter now. It’s not quite the same classic Dawn smell, but still pleasant and clean. The consistency also feels slightly thinner, and it doesn’t seem to cling to the sponge quite as long as the older formula did. However, it still rinses easily and leaves no residue behind. What hasn’t changed is how gentle it is on hands, which I really appreciate since I don’t always wear gloves. It still doubles as a great multi-purpose cleaner for greasy stovetops, floors, and even makeup brushes. Although, I do miss the richer feel of the original formula, the new formula performance is still great and will still be my go-to dish soap.

It really works a lot better and a small amount goes a long way. I can definitely vouch for the 50% better marketing after trialing it. I also am a big fan of the new scent! I definitely his more sweeter floralish notes? I didn't smell like hard chemicals and a cleaning product so I definitely like it much better than the old scent!

The amount needed is very minimal and it helps to get sudsy and clean stuck on messes effectively. The squeeze bottle is easy to use and dispense along with leaving a nice fresh scent that smells inviting. Less is more with this and it helps to keep my home clean.
