Q: Is this free and clear Dawn Dish liquid safe to clean pet bowls. I purchased Dawn ultra with new fragrance and cannot of tolerate the smell. It reminds me of frebreeze. Loved the old orginal Dawn.

This smells almost equally strong as the new scent for regular blue Dawn, it's just a chemical smell similar to paint instead of the fake flowery fragrance. The random "lemon essence" idea must be added to most other Dawn free & clear products to cover up this fundamental failure because actual "fragrance free" Dawn evidently didn't work out.

Soap itself is fine, nice to have fragrance free, but the new bottle is a scam. What problem were they trying to solve? EZ squeeze, no mess! Wasn't an issue. What this bottle does do is waste way more. No matter how light you squeeze you can never get a drop for a small bowl or cup. No, it gives you a full squirt. This smacks of marketing covering up that you'll use way more and then buy more. An exec somewhere is rubbing their hands together greedily.

I like that bottle style but made sponge smell bad. I thought causes by BLUEs scent but this scent FREE does too.

I had this spatula that I thought it was scraped, and after using this soap I realized it was not and the stain is actually going away. The bottle is easy to squeeze and little goes a long way. This is the first time I used a fragrance free dish soap and I was worried certain smells would linger but reality is not. It effectively removes any unwanted scents without leaving any other. I JUST LOVE IT

If you're not adding scents, why is this particular dawn more expensive? I usually use Dawn but too many are complaining about the new scent so I may be looking for something else.

I love this product, just as good as the original minus color and scent (I do not like scents in general, and the new scent on the original is intolerable). I use dawn dish soap for stubborn grease, DIY soap scum remover, and washing fleece (the kind from sheep). I just wish it was easier to find! Also, my bottle has a “refill” reminder line, but I can’t find a bulk size of this product anywhere!

Finally a true free and clear version of Dawn that has no dyes AND no fragrance. So far it works just as well on dishes as the original Dawn, have not yet tried it for my other primary use — laundry stains. Please take the next step and do a true unscented version of the Powerwash Spray (while dye-free, the pear scent is terrible).
