I liked the scent straight from the bottle, but for some reason after I washed my clothes with it, they smelled like they were burnt. Once I dryed them they smelled okay again though!

I found the scent very strong and perfumey which I wasn't a big fan of. However it works as well as my usual Downy, and it doesn't turn me off from the brand completely.

I think this formula works just as well as the regular downy, I have not noticed any irritation on my skin, or any irritation on my dogs after using this fabric softener. The packaging is different colors downy typically uses, so it may grab your attention as a different product, but it is still the same great Downy! The ocean medicine smells clean and not too powerful and keeps clothes smelling nice after the wash. I did receive this product from Influenster and Downy, to give my honest opinion, but I’d purchase this product in the future.

After washing and drying, my laundry smells good, not like detergent! The scent is very mild, clean, and fresh, not perfumey or strong. If you're looking for that obvious fabric softener smell that others can notice on your clothes, this isn't it. The scent is subtle, and I prefer it that way. Overall, it works well and gets the job done without being overpowering.
