Dr. Bronner's Shave Soap - Peppermint - 7 fl oz

The shaving cream smells wonderful but doesnt lather up at all and we have soft water. The instructions are very hard to find on the tube and are of little help.

This stuff is horrible! It is really runny and as you try and pour into your hand it just pours out everywhere! Once you shut the lid it is still in the lid and it leaves a ring on your counter where you leave it.

I love this shave soap and I have no intention of ever going back to foaming shaving cream. However, this packaging is not suited for the product. The shave soap has similar consistency to the castile soap -- so it comes flying out of the downward-facing bottle. Please please please put this in a pump bottle and it gets 5 stars!

The shaving soap itself works fine. Slick, nice smell (I got the peppermint). The lather is thin, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing in that it doesn’t clog my wet/dry electric razor. Skin feels soft afterwards. But I agree with the other reviews - the packaging is problematic. The soap is thin and the tube design leads to ooze everywhere, even if you’re careful. Put this stuff in a bottle with a pump and it would be 4 or 5 stars.

Packaging sucks! Product too runny for a tube. Ends up getting wasted down the drain!!! Especially for the high price.

The container needs to be fixed. I would give the product 4-5 stars, but these guys need to stop ignoring the need to fix how this soap comes out. It's inexcusable. It makes a mess and wastes so much product. Your loyal customers have been complaining about this for some time now. Fix it.

Look I love Bronners and have been using their products for almost 30 years now, but this sucks. Biggest issue is the tube it comes in - needs to be a pump as the product is very runny. Unless you’re ok with the majority of your product running down the sink and all over the counter top, this tube is terrible. That being said it foams up decently, but I don’t really understand the purpose of this product when I could just use the other soap, or even the lotion for a more comfortable shave. Can’t recommend buying it, sorry Bronners but this a swing and a miss.

I used the shaving twice since I’ve bought and I love it. Most shaving creams/gels I have use every 2-3 days to keep a clean shave look but this product I’ve gone two weeks before having to reuse. I’d buy it again

I hestitated to try this product because of a few negative reviews, but I would encourage those reviewers to investigate what's in other shaving products before complaining about this one. This one contains all natural ingreidents, hence it is a bit more liquidy than most and the company could probably do a better job with the packagining since it can get all over the place in the current tube. All that said, the actual product is excellent when used. Leaves a nice shave and doesn't make you prone to razor pricks. Also, the peppermint gives you a nice warm finish that feels great!

Haven't used this yet but I've bought other Dr. Bronner products before and enjoyed them

I love this product as it is healthier for my husband. He was alarmed when he used it and it came out as brown. It’s not quite as good as Cremo but for health reasons we will stick with it.

I have to agree..this product comes in a tube making you think it is creamy or pasty but it is more liquid than dish soap. I had a previous, like product by NOW that did the same but not as bad. This makes it hard to apply as it rolls off your hand. Don't store it standing up on it's wide cap as it will leak out if not snapped shut. The peppermint smell and feel is nice but I will never buy again.

Best shaving cream ever according to my husband, cleaner shave and is his skin in amazingly soft

I like that this shaving soap is made with natural ingredients. It smells like molasses and peppermint oil. It provides a close shave and it leaves my face feeling moisturized. I also am reassured that this product is better for my health, my skin, and the environment.

It gives me a really close shave with my electric razor and my traditional blade shaver.

Product is great and I will buy it again. Packaging isn’t right. Product is too liquid for a squeeze tube

Horrible! This "shaving soap" is anything but! It's BROWN for one thing and gets literally all over the tub plus everything else. As one reviewer wrote, it is NOT a Shaving Soap at all. No Lather, Very Thin and Very Hard to Shave with. One even said it actually tore at her skin. Horrilbe product! It's going back. Dr. Bronner's needs to discontinue. Waste.

Purchased two tubes for my husband, he's been trying to find something with cleaner ingredients. Sadly he is extremely disappointed in this product. He asked me to write a review. It's very runny, does not lather and it runs between his fingers and down his face. Very messy. I should have read the reviews. I guess we might use it as hand wash since the ingredients are the same as the sugar soap. Won't be buying this again.
