  • A: If it operates the same as the hot + cool gen 1 it is useless for continuous heat. Once the air is purified the unit cuts off. If you cut it back on it will only run and heat a short time until the air is purified. If your home has smokers, pets etc it might run continuous but don't count on it.

    Disappointed! First Dyson product to let me down. Paid more for the HP07 for the app connection. Immediately fails to pairing. WiFi is on, tried all three methods. I have other Dyson fans connect without issue. Faulty from the factory no return and I guess warranty is no value. I will pay to repair. Support cannot help. Just e-waste.

    I bought this at the start of the year, so have been able to test both cooling and heating functions, and have no complaints whatsoever. A nice fan during summer, but the heating is the ultimate, in the middle of winter, within half an hour it has heated my entire living area. The remote magnetically sticks to the top which makes it so handy not to lose. And having the app is a dream, easy to connect set up, so easy to update all the functional settings while it is running.

    I love this product, it does a great job at heating my room and the app helps me see how the air has been purified. I like being able to control everything from the app but also having the remote as an option. The oscillation feature is very handy being able to adjust the way it's facing from the app. I don't like how the fan speed slows down when I'm heating because I like having the fan speed high but once it reaches temperature it slows down in fan speed. It makes it harder to use it for air purifying and heating at the same time. Sleek design too.

    Cooling feature isn't nearly as strong as I would have expected. Placed in a small 10ft x 10ft room and yet it still struggles to bring the temperature down. The fan is also louder than I had hoped. I'm disappointed considering we love our other Dyson products.

    Bought about a month ago while it was 30 some degrees at night. We used it in a three seasons room and it heated it to the correct temp that correlated to the rest of the home. It helped tremendously with the air quality when we painted. Cooling is a nice feature! I did not realize I could control most of the features via app!
