Dyson Purifier Humidify and Cool Purifier PH2 De-NOx

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We leave our windows open much of the time for air circulation but this lets in allergens, dust, and during wildfire season, smoke and ash. I like the idea of this nifty contraption keeping our indoor air quality nice and healthy when we have the windows closed, and I especially like the idea that it controls build up of any NO2 from our gas stovetop. I have it on auto everything and is whisper quiet. I haven't cooked anything with lingering odors yet, so I can't comment on whether it is effective at removing odor. The humidification feature is nice too, but we only need extra humidity at night in our bedrooms, or near houseplants, and I'd rather situate this thing in the kitchen/living room. Good info and data on the app, once it's up and running. The only thing I would have loved to see is a "quick set up" sheet--remove all packaging, fill water tank, plug in, power on, and set everything to auto. Otherwise, it works perfectly and is a good looking piece of machinery.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is really great to know how healthy the air in your home rates. I was surprised when the air quality in my home almost hit the red zone. It generally stays in the green (healthy) zone. My husband was blackening our seafood and I had no idea it would jump that high. I turned up the speed on my Dyson Purifier to help clear the air and bring us back to normal. The air quality is good again and so was the seafood!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this purifier and humidifier for a week. It was easy to assemble. Starting it up, was super easy. I was surprised that the noise level was low. The humidifier helps to put moisture back in the dry air. As the summer gets closer, the cooling system will be a huge benefit. The fan is able to cover the whole room and filter the air. I love the app, it keeps me informed of the air quality. The remote stays in place, don't have to worry where it is. I am very satisfied with this product.

The sleek, modern design looks great in the 200 sqft room it resides in and is so quiet while purifying and humidifying that you almost forget it’s on. Most importantly, it works incredibly well! It cools the room down to a nice, comfortable level while filtering out all the ambient contaminants from outside that find their way inside plus the continuously accumulating particles from multiple pets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine was given to me, from Dyson, for a review. I did not use the humidification function because humidification already is part of my HFAC system. It cooled and filtered well, in an extremely large area, with very little noise. The complete machine does not move while oscillation; rather, there are two blades on either side, at the top of the machine, which move silently hence producing less dust.

The app makes it easy to understand how it’s working and how to improve the air quality in my home by providing suggestions. It also sends me alerts when it is time to refill the container with water. Being able to control the settings through the app makes it very helpful. The noise is very minimal when it is operating and the airflow is strong which provides great coverage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recieved a week ago and it is impressively quiet, even when running on higher settings, making it perfect for use during sleep covering our entire bedroom. It provides a refreshing cooling effect that’s noticeable lowering the temperature by increasing humidity in our bedroom by 4 degrees. Most impressively, the filtering of the air is noticeably fresher and cleaner within hours of use. Having multiple cats you can really notice the difference. Highly recommend!!!

After testing both the humidifying and air purifying functions of this machine for the past three weeks, these are my personal pros and cons of this machine: Pros: Exceptionally quiet. I have this turned on most of the day while I WFH, and it is a pleasant hum in the background. The app is surprisingly well done. I use it to turn on the machine when I'm around an hour away from home or when I cook. I have noticed a difference in the lingering smell of food after using this device. The auto humidifier and purifier functions are my default setting. The ability to track air quality and other air contaminants is also insightful, although I wish the comparisons and general barometer of acceptable were better explained. It cools exceptionally well as part of its purifying function. Sleek, modern look. Cons: The humidifier is not my favorite. It can be difficult to understand how to fill this bottom part of the machine at first. Once completed initially, it's quite simple. The machine will stop purifying if the water tank for the humidifier is empty. This is annoying. I wish there was a simplified explanation for the oscillating vs non oscillating functions of the machine. Why is one preferable to the other? Is there a purpose for one function over the other? Other than that, this machine is incredibly well engineered, functional, and not an eyesore.

I put the fan on 10 and let it work for a few hours and I could perceive a noticeable improvement in smell and freshness. The strength of the fan seems adequate although not as powerful as the Big Cool + Quiet that I own. I do like the oscillation mechanism which provides good coverage, the reverse air flow is a neat feature although I don’t know how often I’ll use it. Allergy season is kicking off and I believe this unit has helped with the sneezing and itchy eyes I typically suffer with. I have only run a brief test with the humidifier feature as the humidity was already 45% at the time, but after a few minutes I could feel a difference. I look forward to using this feature in the winter when the fireplace dries the house out. As for noise this unit is very tolerable compared to conventional fans, I was able to sleep with the fan set at 10 in my bedroom. I feel this is a good product and my rationale for 4 not 5 stars is because of the short ownership period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was previously using the Dyson AM10 Humidifier and the Dyson HP04 Hot + Cool Air Purifier in my bedroom and realized that it’s really taking up too much space. The Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool PH2 De-NOx - PH05 gave me all of the abilities of the two models with the added benefit of detecting and destroying formaldehyde on sight. The setup was very easy, I got it up and running in just minutes. Although this unit is significantly larger than my HP04 but the noise level is surprisingly low. I’d recommend this product.

It’s a fantastic all-in-one unit that works as a humidifier, air purifier, and cooling fan—all in one beautiful machine. One of my favorite features is the deep clean cycle for the humidifier. It makes regular maintenance easy and gives me peace of mind the unit is staying clean. I also really appreciate the advanced carbon filter that targets NO₂—especially important for families like mine who deal with allergies, eczema, and asthma. The Dyson app integration is excellent. I love being able to control the machine remotely and see real-time air quality and humidity data right from my phone or on the machine itself. We recently had a virus go through our family, and having this unit running around the clock was so helpful. I felt confident knowing the air was being purified and properly humidified and I swear it helped us recover faster! Overall, it’s been a fantastic addition to our home and genuinely grateful to have it.
