I had to throw it out. This was the flakiest mascara I have ever worn and I would end up with smudged raccoon eyes by the end of the day.

After spending tons of money on It Superhero mascara, Big Mood mascara WINS! This product is a steal! Tons of volume, length, and staying power. My lashes always need a few coats of mascara, and this one is no exception. Use the wand to your advantage by changing angles, to grab all your lashes. Also, great for sensitive eyes. Great product!

If you are looking for volume, this might be for you. I was looking for more length and I did not get that with this product. I tend to wear my mascara for a few days before removing and I could not do that with Big Mood, once you apply it, that's it. It was hard for me to reapply the next day without looking clumpy.
Pretty good clean mascara, but that brush tho....

I bought this mascara because it scored a 3 at EWG which is pretty low for a drug-store brand mascara. I had high hopes, and I do love the color, volume, & lack of clumping. It lasts fairly well on its own for such a clean product, but I do seal it with a waterproof No. 7 mascara if it’s raining, snowing or windy (when my eyes water) as it has a tendency to smudge/wear off in those conditions. It’s a little tricky to remove without eye makeup remover but it can be done. My Acure face wash kinda smears it all over my face & it takes a lot of rinsing to get it off of the rest of my face. But it does come off & for someone who is too lazy to use makeup remover every day, that was a positive for me. The brush is a royal nightmare though. It’s nearly impossible to apply without getting it all over your skin because of the bizarre shape of the brush. Or it just misses the center section of your lashes entirely. It’s really a deal breaker for me & I won’t be buying it again just for the brush. Pretty big bummer since overall, the mascara itself is pretty good.

Love the blue color with brown eyes. Looks so good for me and the color is more vibrant in the sunlight! It can flake a little I would say that the wand is a bit large.

Got this as a mini with one of my bigger orders. Is a nice enough mascara but there are better out there. Being a mini size it came in handy for my travels which elf’s products are amazing for!

This is a generally “meh” mascara. Pigment is top-notch, I will give that. The wand is finicky and not the easiest to work with. The formula doesn’t wear super well. Great initial application but after a few hours, like others have said, smudging and flaking happens and it’s hard to recover once that starts. I typically layer this with my go-to non-e.l.f. mascara just so I can seal in the smudge. She’s really not my favorite but if I need extra glamour for a few hours, I’ll wear her. That’s about the length of her shelf life on the go.

I am a fan of voluminous, long lashes - what Big Mood gives me is *almost* what I want. It's buildable, so you can get lots of volume, but it keeps the lashes fluffy. It's possible to get a natural look with less layers as well. On the downside, I feel like I can't build it as much as I want and it takes some layers. The wand is also so big I often get mascara on my face. I've been using it for around 2 months now and didn't notice any wear time issues!

I love Big Mood! It gives the volume and fullness I want, lasts long, and is easy to remove. I stock up on the travel size because I don’t use mascara after 3 months from the time I open the container (trust me, for eye safety and sanitation, follow this guideline)

The brush is a bit bulky, but it gives my lashes lots of length! A couple more coats might be necessary to hold the lift, but for the price this mascara is great!

I just bought this and was so excited to try it and hoping it would make my lashes bigger, and it did absolutely nothing. It was so dry and almost chalky and didn’t help at all. Do not recommend.

Most waterproof mascaras Ive tried are anything but waterproof. Big Mood goes on easily, is volumizing - without it my lashes seem so short and hardly visible- and stays put. Also a great price for a great product. Doesn't dry up in a short time like other brands.

I have always struggled to find a decent mascara that works with my eyelashes. My eyelashes naturally want to clump together, and that is a look that I don't like when I have mascara on. This is the first mascara I have found that actually separates my eyelashes and lasts all day!
