Q: I’m not sure why they added Teatree oil, but it definitely has a bad odor probably what everyone is complaining about ?? Was wondering if tea tree oil is a newer ingredient as I used to use this product several years ago. Thank you

A: We are sorry for any confusion. We have not changed the formula on this product, tea tree oil is a component and since it is fragrance free, you may notice this. This should dissipate within 60 seconds of application.

I was not expecting much from this primer but was pleasantly surprised by how silky it felt and the slight blurring effect it had over pores. My foundation went smoothly over the top of it.

I will be turning 65 years old in the next couple months. I am told I look about 20 years less than that and I give credit to this primer as well as the glow powder. I use a tinted moisturizer with this primer and it glides over my skin beautifully. I then do my T zone area with the glow powder and it gives me a flawless finish. I don’t understand why this is not five stars across the board. I love ELF!!!

This is such a greasy formula. My skin is oily enough, I don't need anymore. It sometimes works with blurring pores but other times it just kind of sits on my skin while my pores don't look any different. Doesn't absorb into skin very well and makes my makeup hard to blend. Find something else.

This primer works so well at filling in and blending large pores. Definitely need to play around with how much you use, because a little does go a long way. If you apply too much it can feel greasy, but just a pump seems to do the trick. Also, I know people have been commenting on the scent, I think its the tea tree oil that gives it that smell. It's not that bad in my opinion and it does fade once it's on your face. Overall, for the cost of this primer it's a total win for me and I would buy again.

I’ve used this primer since highschool over 10 years ago!! The formula stays consistent and I’ve always loved the smell. This makes makeup glide on your skin so smooth! Doesn’t make your skin feel sticky or tacky, 10/10 recommend

I've used this before, and I loved it. I stopped using it, because well, searching for a holy grail primer and mattifier. I'm glad I came back to this one. When I don't wear makeup-which happens when I'm only hanging out at home, or in the summer, I use a primer to seal in all of the goodness of my moisturizers. I loved how this makes my skin matte, and it also covers fine lines and wrinkles. Please don't change a thing about this product. The tea tree oil also helps my acne and even helps fade post acne marks. This is my holy grail primer and mattifier.

All I use for make up and skin care is ELF. I swear by this brand. But I just purchased this primer and it instantly broke my face out and dried it out yesterday and today my face is super sentive and all red. Any recommendations for a primer that might not be as harsh on my skin? Tried adding a photo, but it won't allow it
