I love my Elf cosmetics but this Illuminating Face Prime is horrible! Not kidding. First of all, the product didn't come out when you pumped the bottle. I took off the top and there was no pipe attached to the top...all that was in there was thick goop. I tried to use it and it was cakey and dry. No illumiation at all. It's going in the trash.

Easy to apply.went on smooth & even, with a soft glow , Not sticky

It doesn’t make me watch to itch my face. (I used Maybelline Master prime for a long time!) This is so much better! I bought the small to try it out, also because I hardly wear make up!

I am in awe the way it feels on my skin on the first day I got my order I put it on my face and had to take a double look at the name primer because I never felt any other primers like it…. I love it!!!

I understand the sun kissed highlighted glow is on trend. However, for my age or my comfort level this primer has just a little too much shimmer for my taste. That shouldn’t take away from the quality of the product though. That’s just my personal preference. It does feel very silky going on.

I bought the illuminating face primer and I really like it. It gives your skin a nice glow. I have dry skin so it goes on smooth and doesn’t flake.

When putting it on it can seem scary but don’t worry because once your makeup is on top it shows that natural glow

I have good skin and minimal wrinkles but my skin looked a little darker under the eyes. This primer is superb to bring my skin alive.

This primer feels wonderful and holds make up very well.

This one isn't my style as it is just too sparkly for me.

i really wanted to like this but sadly it’s just pure shimmer where i thought it would be dewy etc. not worth it if you don’t like that finish

I didn’t like the texture and it is sparkling which I didn’t like. I thought it would be more illuminating in which it gives good hydration but it leaves the skin with sparkles and matte finish’s.

it definitely illuminates your face but has a very watery consistency and not what you'd expect for a primer

This is part of my everyday. Gives a subtle shimmer. Hard to find in store so I like to order several at a time!

I am 76 years old and most days only use this primer, no foundation. Last week I wore it to the dentist and the assistant commented how Dewey my skin looked. She I told her the only thing I had on was this primer she was Amazed, especially at the reasonable price.

Now I don’t mean any harm by my statements. Just know if you are below tanned , don’t get this primer. I learned the hard way but it isn’t for brown skin tones. I am just a beginner in makeup so I thought primers were all clear based. Maybe it’d be a sparkly finish with the illuminating effect. Boy , I was wrong. This would otherwise be lovely if you’re a golden bronze or anything up.

I am in awe. I have dealt with having oily skin since puberty and still do as a 35 year old. I’ve tried every “matte” product out there and was at the store to buy the pink Elf primer but they only had one of these so I grabbed it. When I tell you I haven’t needed to “mattefy” myself once since using it compared to up to 10 times a day before. It was bad and this is a miracle worker-the holy grail.

I originally ordered this product a long time ago, or got it for free… I actually don’t remember how it landed in my makeup bag… decided to randomly use it one day… and now I use it everyday! … and I’m ordering it again… would place this on automatic shipping if I could! I have some hyperpigmentation on my cheeks… wretched dark circles and some combination skin and for some reason this primer offsets ALL OF THIS! Love it! Love it! Love it!

I bought this product a couple of weeks ago and just love it, it glides on smooth and rich feeling.
