[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fun kit to learn about the process of rock tumbling to polish rocks. It is a very long process. And very loud. You could hear it in most of the house. We’re currently two weeks in and I’m the second of four stages. It will be fun to see the final product and use the clay to make some bowls with the rocks.

We collected some stones outside, and brought them home. Then we set it up, which wasn’t too hard, and followed the instructions. What came out was legit incredible and it was so cool. Excellent family time.

It features bags of different materials to polish rocks to gems. The motor noise is not too bad. It is pretty safe and is recommended for age 8+. It is made well and easy to put together.

It is easy to use and has great instructions. The durability leaves a bit to be desired as the nut that holds the lid in place separated from the knob. We were able to glue it back together but it broke after just one polishing cycle so it leaves me worried about long term use. It is a bit noisy and had a tendency to “walk” across the table that we put it on so you need to be careful where you place it. Overall it’s a nice product but I wouldn’t consider it a professional grade tumbler.

The rock tumbler itself is a little noisy while in use but nothing that's not tolerable. The tumbler is secure and safe to use and very durable. Such a fun thing to enjoy with your children.

It runs loud enough that we kept it in the garage (this was not unexpected, as I've had a rock tumbler in the past, but it might bother some people.) Unfortunately, the drive belt broke after just two days, so I'll have to get a new one before we can finish the project (which will be past the review window.) Including a (probably about 3¢) replacement part would be a great idea.

The first belt broke 2 days into the 5 day cycle and the replacement belt broke on day 4. Everything did come packaged well with clear instructions. The noise level is to be expected of rocks tumbling around non stop. Only thing I would recommend is maybe a different material for the belts because they do not hold up.

It’s not that loud considering you are tumbling rocks. It comes with clay as well so your kid can add the gems to the clay things you make.

I gave it a 4 star just because it is a little noise, but after 3 days, you kinda get used to it, but at first, it drove me nuts. It's supper easy to take apart and put back together.

Very confusing as it seems like a toy people would like to use a lot of times. Easy to assemble etc but would like it to last like get.

He is excited to start picking up some rocks to make them look new. The noise level is a little loud but not anything different than normal. We keep ours in a separate room and it has been easy to manage. What I like most is the versatility because it is more than just polishing rocks. It is teaching patience, sparking conversations about science, and giving my kids something to look forward to each day as they check on the progress. We are only about a week in so the rocks are still in the early rough grinding stage. We are excited to see the changes over the next few weeks and my kids are already so eager to see how different the rocks will look by the end.
