Q: Is the suction power of the model 2003 vacuum very strong, where the suction will cause an area rug to lift up when vacuuming an area rug? I don’t want my area rug to move or buckle when I’m trying to vacuum the area rug!

A: Hi Jacqueline. This model is light weight and doesn't have a brush roll in the foot. It works well for low pile area rugs and hard floors.

Q: Does this product pick up human hair on low carpets? I have. Bissell 38B1 -L that does & I want the same results with the 2033. I know the 2033 does not have a spin brush.

Q: Does the head have a brush? I know it does not have a rotating brush, but I think it should have a stationary brush for my floors, which are hardwood, tile, & linoleum. Tx.

It has a lot of sucker for a little fellow. I like the way the floor nozzle and handle can be removed. Great for cleaning the couch. It is thin enough to fit under the couch. My only complaint is that there is no way to store the thin wand on the cleaner so that it doesn't get lost. I used a piece of Velcro to hold it to the sweep head. Works great.

The secret is to keep the cup cleaned out, then the suction is good. I had one 20 years ago, then bought a second to keep upstairs. Then I bought one for my elderly father, and bought another for my sister who is disabled, because they are light. I just bought this one because I moved. I also love that the floor piece is removable and then it is hand held, and I take the handle off too and use it to clean my car with the long, skinny attachment. A great buy all around!
