I’ve used sorry many varieties and brands of irons, curling , flat and waving. My sister recommended this one because nothing seemed to hold for any length of time. Shout out to my little sis. This works! I use it for waving my hair, but it’s an excellent flat iron as well and for the job it does the price is well worth it.

This actually works ok for my thick, multi textured hair, but it feels cheap and my hair gets caught in the gap between the plates and plastic on every pass! It’s no different than the Chi’s I used 15+ yrs ago, in my opinion.

This was the best straightener I ever used! I bought mine in around 2007 and it lasted me until 2019ish when it finally stopped turning on unless you position the cord perfectly 😂. I replaced it with a more expensive “professional” straightener by GHD and I will say FHI blows it out of the water.

This flat iron does not work well for beachy waves. I have to crank up the heat and go over several times. My cheap flat iron works much better. I’m going to keep trying but I think it will be going back. So far, not worth the price.

Purchased this flat iron about 12 years ago from a beauty supply store and it still works just fine. Can’t speak for the quality of them now. I have 4a/4b hair and it gets the job done at 375-400 degrees. They were a little more expensive back then but worth every penny.

This is a great flat iron. On the first pass my hair is smooth, shiny and feels moisturized. I have to adjust the amount of heat protection product I use! This iron is worth every penny I spent. The only thing I wish is that the plates were more beveled so that I could curl the Ed’s of my hair better.
if you want to have silk hair get this.

This company has only gotten better than it did when I first purchased this brand of flatiron about eight or nine years ago!! It looks as though their making their products much more efficient because I get far better results using my new FHI iron on my hair and getting much better results in straightening my hair than when using my old iron. This company has always sold great haircare products but, I highly recommend these new products for better performance for healthier looking hair that keeps hair looking its best the whole day long!! Well worth the price, you won't be disappointed and that's a promise!! Thank you FHI Heat for making so many great products for us to enjoy!
