Haven’t worn a watch in years and wanted to get one to help me get back into shape by tracking activities and body metrics. Got the Fenix 7S Pro Solar and found out after it arrived the S was for small. Barely fit my wrist. The bezel has names for each button but you need a magnifying glass to read them. Couldn’t remember all the actions for 5 buttons so it was a pain to get to the functions. Returned it and bought an Apple Watch Ultra.

For the most part I am happy with this watch and its features. Unfortunately it has started randomly resetting, where it will turn completely off and restart. Luckily I haven’t lost any data when this happens but I’m worried it will happen at the start line of a race.

it does offer lot of feature, however I just dont find it very reliable.. my heart rate is off .. that I could understand , but it send alert with abnormal heart rate all of sudden even watch showing 100 bpm.. that too randomly .. will send you storm alert when you are aero plane .. most interestingly it sent emergency alert when I was climbing and watc hwas attached to harness.. I was wondering how and what might touched to send the alert. i dont know is it my watch or all fenix .. by the way bluethooth connection issue is well known .. I will keep 2 stars just it last longer than apple watch.

I bought this watch so I wouldn't have to worry about charging my forerunner multiple times during an upcoming 48 hour race. Last weekend we tested it out during a 24 hour race and unfortunately the fully charged fenix died 22 hours into the race. To make matters worse, I did not receive any low bat notifications and my run was not saved so I have no data for it. Majorly disappointed.

I went from a 7 y/o Garmin Instinct to the Fenix 7S Pro Sapphire Solar Edition. What made me take the leap was the multisport/adventure racing features and the solar component, in addition, it helped it was on sale for like 30% off :). I've been an outdoor sports and racing person ( water, mountains, adventure, IM, etc) for over 30 years. In addition to professional coaching for over 25 yrs. I like things simple, so I stuck with my Instinct until the lure of the Fenix could not be denied. It has been the best decision, the number of features that you can actually use are amazing. It is not a hard watch to learn, you just need to take the time to look into each sub and sub sub and sub sub sub category but again, it gives you a lot of insights of data that you can actually use.

Bought this a month ago and it's met about 75% of my expectations given the high price tag. I use it primarily for running and find the GPS to be 99% accurate and really sticks to the map. The pacing is great in most places but dips out on trails occasionally. The treadmill accuracy to terrible even after multiple attempts to calibrate. The battery hasn't lasted as long as advertised as of yet but lasts a decent amount of time so it's not annoying to charge more frequently than expected. HR monitoring is pretty darn accurate compared to a chest strap which is amazing compared to competitors.

The Fenix 7S Pro is the ultimate activity tracker and watch! I use this to track my calories and all my activities, it's been almost a year. I disabled all notifications because I personally don't care for the smart watch features. I use this to track heart rate, steps, O2 levels, calories burned and my activities: walks, runs, basketball, volleyball, mixed martial arts, snowboarding, surfing, mountain biking and golf. The Garmin app syncs up with Strava and Lose It apps so I can keep track of my past activities time, distances, location, and calories burned. It's really convenient and probably the most useful device I own. Battery life lasts about 9-11 days based on how many activities I track. I stopped using my Garmin cycling computers because the Fenix does everything I need. I customized the face display for each activity, it's been working out great! I did have some skin irritation during the summer when sweating a lot and so I now carry a small towel to wipe my wrist and watch down and haven't had issues since. I love the Fenix, I will definitely be buying another one!
Love it

I have had the watch for a couple of weeks and have had the chance to play around with the settings and do a workout every day. The only thing that kind of confuses me is the workout readiness and rest schedule. I workout, either lifting weights, running, walking, or cycling every day and my training readiness doesn't change. It also says that my training status is unproductive. I know I workout everyday but that doesn't mean I go hard every day. The other information that is provided on the watch is amazing and has been really helpful. It is always interesting to see your training stats. I think it's really cool to lift weights and then the app shows you all of the muscles you just worked. Overall I am very happy with the watch and can't wait until the weather warms up to see how well the solar charging works when I am out hiking!

Got it after new year , I like everyday suggestion and steps, most time I follow it. Still need to figure out some menus. The battery life is the reason I don’t give 5 stars, I expected it could be longer - after two winter navigations , I had to charge it immediately.

There is so much to love about this watch. Unbeatable battery life, super comfortable (even to sleep in) and great training programs. My only gripe is the inability to fast forward podcasts, as I like to listen to long form pods on my runs. Nonetheless, the device is worth every penny.
