    Entirely customizable

    This is my first Garmin. It said this model was entry level however, the program and stats it provides is abundant. I was shocked to see that when I logged my weight training it knew which primary and secondary muscles I targeting without selecting it. I appreciate that I can add my running and trail shoes to the workouts so I’m not having to guess when I should replace them. The buttons are easy to negate as well as the touch screen. I like that I can personalize what I can see on the main clock face. I can’t hear the alarm tones due to my partial hearing loss, but the watch allows me to turn off the tone and only have the vibration setting, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I’m impressed with how much you’re able to customize it to your preference and how much detail it provides for workouts, hikes, or runs.

    Bare bones

    The Garmin devices are either stripped down or loaded to the hilt. Need a device with barometer, pulsox, heart rate, color touch screen but without large storage capabilities. I presumed that this device would at least count floors while on GPS but nope. So much for my floor trends, previous heart rate trends as the new device seems to have changed all of that.

    Great watch

    I bought the watch a month ago and it is perfect for my needs. It is easy to set up and use, and has updated features compared to my previous forerunner 45. In addition, Garmin gave me a substantial discount because the lug broke on my 7 year old forerunner 45 that was clearly out of warranty. I highly recommend this watch and Garmin.

    Better than the 55

    I had a Garmin 55 battery wasn’t lasting very long and was looking to upgrade watches. I like the options with the apps th 55 didn’t have SUP option, I do Marathon Canoe Racing, the canoeing app I had to use used up a lot of battery ! So far this watch in SUP mode works perfect !! Had the 55 about 4 years hoping the 70 battery lasts longer. So it’s been an excellent upgrade

    Great watch and perfect for what I need. Dont run, but I do quite a bit of biking and hiking and it keeps these in check and shares them on Stava. Also great a checking my sleep patterns and heart rate at various times in the day. So far the battery life is great. My only issue compared to my last Garmin watch is that the sleep alarm does not seem to wake me up like the other one.

    I had an Apple Watch SE before I switched over to a GARMIN, and don’t get me wrong I loved my Apple Watch but I wanted to invest into something new! So I talked to my friends and they told me the forerunners are there favorites! So I invested into a GARMIN forerunner 70 and I love it! Everything about it!!!

    I'm a Garmin girl!

    Purchased this about a month ago after my 9 year old Forerunner 35 finally died. I debated other brands and other watches but I asked myself - if my Forerunner had outlasted any other watch or brand that I had why was I going to mess with a good thing? I couldn't be happier with the "new to me" features on the 70 and I've even received compliments on the citron color. So glad I stuck with Garmin!

    I absolutely love my Garmin! It’s cute, comfortable to wear, and does so much more than just tell time. It tracks my runs, workouts, heart rate, sleep, stress, recovery, and so many other health metrics with great accuracy. I especially love the detailed reports and insights—it makes it easy to see my progress and stay motivated toward my fitness goals. The battery life is fantastic, and the app is very user-friendly. If you’re looking for a smartwatch that combines style with excellent fitness tracking, I highly recommend Garmin. It’s been one of the best investments I’ve made for my health and training.

    Amazing features!

    I bought this about a month ago and so far i am loving it! I have been using the Garmin recommended strength training workouts for 2 weeks and they are so challenging without being impossible to complete. Though, my favorite thing may be the sleep/body awareness features. Definitely worth it!

    A seemingly perfect watch for an attainable price. But with all of these metrics they are missing elevation gain, a simple but essential tool for runners. With everything else, it feels that this omission is on purpose to force you into a higher model.

    I like the watch I have enjoyed it. As a swimmer, however it somehow has no idea how many laps I am swimming for incense I swim 200 m at a time and it requires 50 m, maybe 150 m but never 200 at the end of the workout however it does have the correct number of meters I have swam. If you have any advice for me, I’d love to hear it as to how I could fix this problem, but besides that the watch is great.

    I’ve been using the Garmin Forerunner 70 for my training, and I’m extremely happy with it! The GPS is accurate, the battery life is impressive, and the watch is lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day. I love the detailed workout and recovery metrics—they’ve helped me stay on track with my running goals. The display is bright and easy to read, even outdoors, and the interface is simple to navigate. If you’re looking for a reliable running watch with great features at a reasonable price, I highly recommend the Garmin Forerunner 70!
