GEMS Retro Analog Alarm Clock

I was hesitant to purchase this based on the other reviews, but I love it! Just be aware the calendar part is manual which isn’t a big deal for me. I got it on sale and it was well worth the price then! So far hasn’t broken down on me.

Broken upon opening the box

The date and day if the week don't switch over. The alarm doesnt go off. The place where you put the battery is slightly small for a double a battery so you have to sort of jam it in. I guess the only positive is that you can tell what time it is. Everything else about it sucks.

The Date doesn’t change Automatically after midnight . You have to press the top button to change it yourself. (Manually ) The clock gets stuck . So, it doesn’t give you the Time . And the plastic it is cheap material. The idea is Great ! But if it will actually Work like it supposed to . If the issues were to be fixed . I will totally buy it . 😊. But , Right NOW DONT SPEND YOUR MONEY on this item .

Can’t set the alarm and the date does not change with time. You have to manually change it

Cheap very light weight and battery doesn't fit properly

The plastic is super lightweight so the whole clock feels cheap. The day and date aren’t connected to the clock, like I thought it would be, so you have to manually update it. The battery compartment also sits deep inside of the clock so I had a hard time trying to push the battery into the slot without feeling like I was going to crack the clock. Oh, and the alarm doesn’t work. It’s fun to look at but not worth $15… I should’ve read the reviews before buying it lol

Sits on top my refigator amd keeps perfect time. The set back you manuel push the date & day each day. But I am okay with that great piece and I do recommend.

This does what I needed; not well but it does it. It was overpriced and feels cheap. The clock has a second hand (reason for purchasing) but the clock mechanism is separate from the calendar. You have to manually change the date & day. I’ve had it a few weeks now, let’s see how it holds up.

The clock arrived broken the date was stuck on Wednesday and wouldn't work. So cheap and not even worth to $10.00, I just threw it in the trash.

I was disappointed in the clock. I found the quality was not what I expected. The clock works but you have to manually change day and date.

It felt incredibly cheap right out of the box. I put a battery in it anyway, which was not an easy task. When I went to set the time, date, and day, it became clear that the days were already loose and dangling. My recommendation is to give this bit of landfill fodder a pass.

Looks are all this has. The day and date don’t roll based on the clock, so you have to advance them manually everyday. Also, the alarm switch is inside, beside the battery, so you have to open it all up in order to turn on/off. This is an issue because otherwise the alarm goes off for both am and pm. Really dumb design. Will be returning.

It has a great look but the alarm does not work at all. Not to mention the battery terminal is really hard to connect. The interior only has the small clock motor and the flip wheels so be careful installing the battery or else you’ll have to tilt the whole clock it get it out. Is it a big deal? Not really but that plus the alarm not working plus the manual flips needed to change the date and day make it hard to justify the $15 price.

Fun retro analog clock. This clock does the basics and does it well. If you need a bare minimum clock or just something that looks fun, this is for you. The only drawback i see is that it seems built with very light plastic so I am worried about how well it will hold up.

This retro clock is a lot of fun! It helps teach my little boy about dates and time and he loves pushing the button to flip the display tile. We keep it in his room and he changes the date every morning. Lots of fun, hope it comes in other colors soon!

This product is super cute and looks great, as long as you don't touch it or expect it to function. The clock itself is run by a basic 1xAA clock movement, which is fair enough, but has no connection to the flip clock at all. As a result, the date and day do not advance automatically and instead you need to advance them yourself every day. The clock itself is also exceptionally light and feels cheap, which is fine as long as you don't have to, say, touch it every day. Oh... For something I was going to stick in the spare room... yeah not so much. Even for $15, it is going back to the store.

This analog alarm clock is beautiful and is different . I love the color and the features . It does have a display of days, date and a separate screen display for the clock . It’s amazing how the dates roll over with the time change . Love it

I recently got this retro alarm clock and I am very pleased to have this retro feel alarm clock. The design and color theme is based of old fashioned, which I love. It has a flip date display that shows the day of the week and the date. It is light weight plastic, however not flimsy, feels sturdy enough. The clock is very easy to use and the alarm sound is soft, not loud. I also appreciate that it is battery powered, making it easy to place anywhere without being restricted by a cord. Overall, I would recommend this clock to anyone who wants a simple and functional alarm clock with a retro look .
