Once one of my favorites now has gone down hill and this latest box is depressing. It’s sad when a generic brand tastes better and more like the old version of rice chex. If GM and all other manufacturers want to bow down to gluten crown they should make a version for them while leaving the good stuff alone for the rest of us.
Can't be fresh if Plastic bag is wide opened.

Our twins love Chocolate Chex... especially the chocolate pieces. But our son, who has autism, will only eat the chocolate ones. Unfortunately, the mix is mostly plain, so we end up sorting each box just to find the pieces he’ll eat. It’s disappointing that a product labeled “Chocolate Chex” is only about 40% chocolate. We end up throwing away more than half the box, which doesn’t feel worth the money. We’d love to see a version that’s 100% chocolate Chex. That would make a huge difference for families like ours. Pros: - Great chocolate flavor - Kid-approved - Gluten-free Cons: - Too many non-chocolate pieces - Not ideal for selective eaters - Feels wasteful and overpriced when half isn’t eaten

Disappointing experience for an 80s baby. I haven't bought cereal and milk in years but had a craving. Deep was my dismal dissatisfaction. What happened to the light fluffy almost white colored pillows of mild sweet rice flavor. What I found floating in my spoon were cranky gnarly squarish flattened cubes with chipped corners that almost appeared coated in some form of light plastic adding to the nonfoodlike texture. Truly got a little depressed. It made me think they are moving in the direction of selling humans dogfood or bot food perhaps. Why would they do this / change the recipe like this- if they care about the people who plan to consume this ? To make it worse my box was purchased at a cheap place and just have been stored near laundry detergent or fabric softeners. Unfortunately straight to the garbage it went.

Wheat Chex has been a favorite in my family for many years, however I am really disturbed regarding the white spots present on the cereal. Whether it’s mold, improper mixing of the batter, or what ever, the appearance is not appetizing. I don’t understand why a company of your capacity and capabilities cannot correct this problem. I will no longer purchase this product. Thank you

The taste was overall alright, the strawberry flavored pieces of cereal are quite floral and artificial tasting. But the other pieces don't really taste like much, they honestly taste like cardboard a bit. I honestly liked the flavor more without adding milk though!

The cereal appears to have two different flavors, with some pieces covered in the strawberry powder and others left plain. The cereal is crunchy and holds that texture well in the beginning but quickly gets soggy, even with cold milk. The cereal by itself tastes very sweet, but with milk, it has a better balance with the flavors. I enjoyed that the strawberry powder coated my milk so I could have a strawberry milk treat after finishing the cereal. Unsure if I’d buy again because of how sweet the cereal is, but it’s a nice treat. I received this item for free through Influenster.

Over the last year the recipe for Chocolate Chex changed. No chocolate taste at all. Tastes too sugary and floral-like. Fruit Loops comes to mind, that Chec is less flavorful and more sugary in taste now. Who changed the recipe and why? It used to be 5 stars.

It has the normal check standard that it doesn't get soggy right away the texture is crisp and the taste is oh my goodness strawberry vanilla delightfulness! The packaging is any standard cereal box and bag inside and we'll stay fresh as long as you close the bag down clip it and keep it in a dry place.
