A: Yes, it will as the bulb is what is doing the sanitizing. The bulb should be replaced every 6-8 months.

A: This unit does not have a filter. The bulb will need to be replaced every 6-8 months, regardless of the color of the light, or when the light goes out, turns orange/red or white.

Helps with odor from litterbox
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little guy is no miracle worker but definitely seems to help reduce odors from the litterbox. Unlike a lot of other UV-C air sanitizers, this product have a very narrow and confined space in which air passes through. This means air passes very closely to the UV-C bulb which is needed for eliminating bacteria effectively.

It’s not compatible for outlets. It does not stay up. I have a normal outlet…nothing unusual. I even tried other locations of the house. I guess I’ll just put it in backwards into the outlet. So very disappointed. (Provided picture of it backwards in outlet)

Removes Cigarette Smoke Odor
We've had this plugged in for several weeks. We got it because the downstairs neighbor in our building smokes. While not immediate, it does clear the air in about 12 to 24 hours in a 15' x 25' studio apartment. Clears other odors as well. Does emit a purple glow at night if that bothers anyone. Plus it makes a humming noise like a "white" noise. Would buy again.
