My personal trainer recommended that I get one of these for my gym at home. After reading some reviews on this product, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase. Its really great for my workouts and when I need to let lose of some aggression! Works arms well.

Product works great until the handles start to lose their adhesion on the ropes. I would recommend upgrading the handles to something other than a vinyl coating. Maybe a metal handle.

I hadn't tried rope work before buying these. They can generate a very intense workout experience. I use them anchored to 35 lb kettlebell, which still moves. The rope is showing some minor abrasion where it rubs together, but no loose or frayed cords.

The workout equipment I love to hate. A little stiff at first, but you break them in pretty quickly. Definitely consider getting an anchor.

Great addition to anyone's workout. sweat your butt off, work your core, arms and shoulders.you get a killer workout in half the time!

Husband LOVES these battle ropes. It works his cardio better than regular jumping rope. You have to be coordinated to do regular jumping rope. He had trouble keeping time. He loves these heavy combat ropes, though. Works out with them outside several times a week. His arms are so strong now!

These are awesome! I teach a bootcamp and these ropes were perfect for my class... Only wish they had a bag with them it would be easier to carry around

Do you want a kick butt workout for the upper body? Try this ropes. I mix these in regularly. They are a great cardiovascular alternative to running. You can run one day and use these the next. They are solid, well made ropes.

Tough rope. Easy to use and fold up. Handles are easy to hold. The smooth plastic handles allow me to use light gloves to grip if I want. The gloves are not necessary.

So far they are everything I had hoped. I use them about 3 times a week. The handles and quality of te rope are very good and for the money I feel they were the best option.

This rope is a much better price than one I previously purchased at a brand name sporting good store. Excellent quality.... a great workout.

I have been using this rope for a couple months now, and am quite pleased. I have NOT experienced any fraying as told in other reviews.I use the rope outdoors on grass and blacktop driveway, depending on the conditions, 2-3 times per week. I have noticed some minor sun bleaching of the black color and some minor wear, from the blacktop I am sure. The shrink handles and rope do not show any wear or damage aside from the minor stuff mentioned.The workout is great, and better for me than most other things I've tried.My only complaint is pretty minor: I thought the rope would be more flexible. It's pretty rigid, although it flexes plenty for workout purposes.

Love the workout. Started using it straight out of the box once I received it. My three kids were lining up to take turns using it because they all thought it was the wildest exercise they'd ever seen. However, I may have made the mistake of having the rope looped around a square edged pole. This caused it to scruff pretty badly as it was being rubbed up and down a fairly sharp edge. So as a piece of advice, use a round pole or heavy kettle bells to anchor it.

Arrived quickly in pretty good condition. Had a slight fray but nothing big. Gives a great workout as you would expect a combat rope to. Seems to be good quality and have noticed no signs of wear in the last few months of light use. Great ropes for a great price.

This rope is great. Having the sealed ends make it even better not only for grip but also keeps the rope from unraveling.

I've had this rope a couple weeks, so I can't comment on the long-term durability of the rope. However it's a good solid rope. The handles are nice. It's got good weight. It definitely a good workout if used properly. High intensity interval training is kind of the craze right now, so you are going to overpay for a rope. However in comparison to other options out there, this seems to be as good of a deal as any. It seems very well made.
