It is wireless so you don't have to worry about run out of battery or recharge the battery, a little bit work to install cause need to work on the wire. It can connect with wifi and Bluetooth and your Google Home app. With 2K HD, night light and motion detection that help to protect your door much better at night also at day time. It is a good product that you should have and it perfectly fit your pocket.

Compared to ring, it is thinner than what I’ve used previously, looks nicer, and is more compatible with other products with more features. It’s a little tricky to install compared to a battery camera, but once you have it installed you don’t have to worry about it staying powered. Nice that it has a high resolution compared to a battery camera! I can see well even if the weather is bad. I haven’t fully integrated it but it’s a plus that you can use it with a bunch of google home items!

Easy set up

Hiccup with set up but otherwise fine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t messed around with the app too much but it seems pretty straight forward. Not interested in setting up voice recognition for a doorbell. The clarity of the camera is about the same maybe slightly better than our other home cameras. We have no had any issues with it connecting to our WiFi so far. One star taken away though because during set up I could not get anything to work or connect from my google account but when my husband tried it from his account it worked just fine.

Best doorbell camera if you don’t want a subscript

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband installed this but on our door behind the glass because we didn’t want it to get wet or dusty. But as you could see in the picture it still has great quality and could see the whole yard. I love how you could change the doorbell ring to festive rings and gives notifications and recordings from that day without a subscription.

Crystal Clear Video & Reliable Performance — Worth

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently switched to the Google Nest Doorbell (Gen 3, Wired), and overall, I’m very pleased with the upgrade. The video quality is super clear, and the recording reliability has been excellent—both of which are far superior to my experience with Ring. Pros: • Extremely clear, high-quality footage • Very reliable motion detection and recording • Outperforms Ring in both clarity and consistency • Includes a wedge for angled mounting, which made positioning the camera much easier Cons: • Setup took longer than expected • Existing holes from my Ring doorbell didn’t align, so I had to drill new holes into the brick • Even after installation, navigating the app to view recordings took some extra maneuvering • Only stores about 3 hours of footage for free—a paid subscription is needed for meaningful use Despite the setup frustrations and limited free storage, the overall performance easily outweighs the drawbacks. It ultimately outscores Ring, and I’ll be investing in additional Nest cameras for outdoor use as well.

Much better than the chargeable version

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this doorbell. This actually isn't my first Nest doorbell (I purchased the 3rd gen battery-powered one prior to this!), so I was extremely happy to get this one. The battery-powered one, in my experience, dies really quickly. Perhaps it's because I live on a busier road, but I found that the battery would be depleted within a week. The wired version got rid of this issue for me, which has been a major relief. It is a bit harder to install, which can be frustrating, but it is absolutely worth it for me. The Nest app is easy to use and I found that the camera and mic quality are pretty good. I think this is a fantastic video doorbell and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for one.

The motion sensor and audio work flawlessly, there’s no lag, no guesswork, just smooth and reliable performance every time. Additionally, the installation and programming was simple. One thing I really appreciate is how many free features Google includes with this doorbell. You don’t feel like you immediately have to sign up for a subscription to get real value out of it. And the holiday-themed ringtones? Absolutely adorable! They’re such a fun touch and really make the doorbell feel more personal and festive. I replaced my old Ring doorbell with the Google Nest Doorbell (Wired), and honestly, I couldn’t be happier. It’s been a huge upgrade in both functionality and user experience. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free from Influenster and Nest in return for my honest review on The Nest doorbell wired 3rd generation. I was so excited to get to use this and the installing part is so easy as long as you look up ahead of time the wiring of your door bell and make sure it is compatible. Make sure to download the Google home app first and make a nest account when you have it installed. All so easy you will have everything done in less then a hour. I love it so much!!! This does so much you will have peace of mind all day. It tracks all day for you, notifications are instant and you can add up to 5 people to have access to the camera features with even adding the kids with less access to everything for them, which I find as a parent. The color is outstanding, the sound isn't garbled, it's crystal clear even in the wind. This camera will allow saving of videos and feed for long periods with the help of Gemini if need be if you need to use that option. I find that fantastic as if you need to be away from your home for longer periods, the nest has your back. You are in control of all features, you can add what you want to capture, you can view as fast as hitting the Google home app and you see what the camera view sees. And play past videos if something was delivered at a certain time and you needed to verify, it has the time there for you. This camera is fast and efficient at capturing what it needs to and as sensitive as someone even pulling a bit into our driveway. No need to race to the door immediately, check who's there when you get the notification even before they ring the bell and belive me that works too. The talk back feature is wonderful, as sometimes you are home or not and being able to communicate from anywhere is truly everything to me. If you dont have a camera doorbell this one is for you, your in control the whole time, the pictures say it all!! I recommend this over and over!!
