These are perfect!!! I've wanted half gallon for so long - who actually uses gallon bags for a gallon? Great for vegetables like the rest the bag of sugar snap peas or asparagus. They really are the perfect size.

But if you do it correctly you will have nothing to worry about.

Perfect size for Portioning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These half gallon bags are perfect for portion control. They would fit a couple of chicken for two or even more. It would easier to defrost two pieces of chicken than a bag full. I used one to freeze bakalal/fish. I like the expandable bottom and it does stand on its own for easy filling. I would use these for more than freezing foods, I would be using them more for snacks like chips and fruits. The zip open and close with no fuss. I like I can label my stuff too. I am happy with these bags and would buy more.
