HEX BOTS Skitter Bot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The toy quality was poor and my child was bored with the toy. It really doesnt do much and fell apart easily. Not a very exciting toy that can be played with over and over. Over all review is that it is very plain, and not very entertaining for my child.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this for free in exchange for a review. My son was extremely excited to open this. Easy to figure out, and was fun for about two minutes. It walks around but cant climb over anything. Battery died after about 5 minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a welcome surprise! The packaging was easy to open and with batteries included this Skitter was ready to go, right out of the box. The actual toy is lightweight but great quality. It is easily operated by an on/off switch on the underside of the skitters body. It comes with one additional piece required to propel the skitter forward, so dont forget to insert that into the body of the skitter to work properly. My song and daughter loved following and dancing along with this small, but mighty Skitter! Thanks to Butterly and Spin Master for sending this to me for review!

It has light up eyes which makes it cool to sneak around and prank her siblings. It's a great gift for both boys and girls ages 4-8. This was kid approved and I would definitely recommend!

This fun toy skitters around your house wildly, while your child chases it. The colours and quality are definitely what you would expect from Spin Master Toys. It comes in two different colours, we got the green and purple one. It also comes with batteries, so it can be played with right out of the box. This would be perfect for younger children as it did not capture my 10 year olds attention for long. We got this item for free for our honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The kids have been bringing this toy everywhere. They have created obstacles for the spider with other toys. Its so great for stem. The long legs allow for it to climb easily over building blocks and other things on the floor. It was fun for the kids to build different things and see if the spider can climb over it. Its has been loads of fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Out adoptive son is 4 years old and he absolutely adores anything bug related, so what a great idea for a simple toy for a spider-loving child! It's simple and easy for him to play with and he enjoys incorporating the SkitterBot Spider into his pretend play. He also enjoys pretending to scare me with it much to his delight! The way it's designed, it really does work on any terrain. Our son loves setting up his cars and trucks and then having the SkitterBot Spider crawl over everything scaring everyone. It's a fun little toy and unique so adds a bit of mix to his typical car/truck toys.

My boys were excited watching the creepy spider skitter across the room, and do flips when faced with an obstacle. It was very amusing but they did mention wishing they could control it themselves. The quality is good and it's a fun little toy but I don't think it'll get as much attention as their other toys, other than using it to scare daddy!

Instructions weren't super clear, but once we figured it out, they had fun! The only downside to the toy is that it's a little noisy, but still fun, none the less.

We werent sure what to expect but once we turned it on the skitter bot was dancing all over the place! The kids were laughing and screaming as they both chased it and jumped out of its way! Our pets even got interested in chasing him around. The girls cant wait to scare their friends with him. The quality of this toy is really good. Very durable and strong. My kids arent gentle and they had no troubles with it. This is not the first toy we have had from Spin Master but just like the others we have had this toy did not disappoint!! We will definitely keep purchasing toys from Spin Master and would be happy to test any further toys in the future as well.

First impressions - it's kind of scary which might be the point but has mixed reviews from my three children. Youngest (3): Loved it when it was off, screamed in horror when it's on and runs away. Takes two hours for sisters to convince him it's fun. Now he says he loves the colors and it's fun to play with. Middle (7): This is awesome! (Chases the other family members with it). Loves that it moves and is funny to see others reactions. "This is great for April Fools!" Oldest (9) : Thought it was hilarious. My take: It's fun, light, scary but the kids enjoy setting it off as a prank. Its decently durable but the long delicate legs might not be up to continuous use. The battery was quickly used up so it will be a use when needed toy.

My son thought it was hilarious and enjoyed watching it skitter around the house, even if only for a few minutes. Overall, its a fun, easy little toy thats great for quick entertainment or as a small gift.

When I asked him what he thinks, he said the toy is so funny. He likes it. Played with the toy for a good 30 mins then did something else then went back to playing with it again. The quality is good. Its not flimsy. It looks like its going to last even in rough playing. Yes, Spin Master makes interesting toys and it made my son excited to check out more toys from them.
