Q: The remote won’t turn the tv on despite doing battery replacements and full resets. The remote performs all other commands pointed at or away from the tv but you have to use the button on the bottom of the tv for on. How can that be fixed?

Update the TV software: Check for the latest TV software update. Disable CEC: Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) allows devices to control each other over HDMI. When CEC is misbehaving, it can cause your TV to turn on and off for no reason. You can disable CEC in your TV's settings menu. Update the TV software: Ensure you've installed the latest software/firmware from Google and Hisense. Q: Why won’t the remote control turn the tv on? It has to be inches from the base sensor of the tv and directly in front to work. The same problem does not exist for turning it off. The batteries have been replaced.

If you still have issues try repairing to the TV -keep the remote control within 10 feet (304.8 cm) from the TV, hold and at the same time at least 3 seconds to start pairing. • If your remote control fails to pair with TV, check the Bluetooth is set On by pressing button to select Settings > Remotes & Accessories > Bluetooth Visibility to On. • This function may not be applicable in some models/countries/regions. • If an error occurred while trying to pair the remote control, it could have been caused by interference. Try to remove what is causing the interference and try pairing again. • If an error occurred with the remote control while using sufficiently charged batteries, you can take out the batteries for 1~2 seconds then insert them back again. Looks decent but the remote continuously went back to Bluetooth mode when I wanted it in infrared mode so that it could control my Sonos Playbar soundbar. Because of this I can’t use the remote for my soundbar which is maddening. It also is very slow to load apps/ movies where my last tv that was 6+ years old had no prob with an identical router/ modem set up. Returning

It’s only been to years, and it’s doing the whole blinking red and not turning on.. the same problem every single person who buys this has when you google the issue. Also, before this, the remote would ALWAYS stop syncing up.

Horrible, glitches after watching 2 hours movies changed the cables,contacted tech support nothing! TV turned by it itself every night 1: 20am or 5am, so loud that I jumped from my bed I changed remote batteries, nothing can't find the setting when it would stop anyone with the same issue?

So i just bought this tv and i love it! Super easy set up, my remote worked fine, if you read the directions all the way it tells you how to pair the remote to the TV so it works, also to the person 👇🏼 below that said that it only lasted 6 months and they wouldn't let you return it? Bs. You probably didn't keep your receipt or the original packaging for the 1 YEAR WARRANTY. Duh okay read the directions people. Says if you dont have the original packaging and the receipt, it voids the warranty, so keep your original box and packaging just in case! But yes 1 year warranty is included but keep all original packaging and receipt. Great tv so far hopefully won't have to use warranty if i do ill post another review but so far we love it

TV Lasted Less Than 6 Months

Do not purchase this TV! I purchased this TV at the end of May 2024 it’s is now September 8th 2024 and the TV is no longer working. My mom and I were watching TV and the screen went black, we could still hear our movie but could not see anything. We tried power cycling, resetting it, turning it off and on and nothing. Called the company and they stated it’s most likely my the backlights that went out and I’d need me buy a new one. This is absolutely ridiculous and I’m very upset I’ve spent my money on this!
