However it is kind of bulky, so its hard for him to chew on. It would be nice if the ears were separated and he could chew on them easier.

We have been through dozens of teethers and this one is by FAR the best. My daughter can easily hold the bunny’s body while gnawing on the concave edge of the ears and it calms her down instantly. It’s big enough that my 4 month old son able to hold onto it and get it to his mouth without having super developed motor skills. He’s obsessed with chewing on the ears. I took one star off because he often tries to bite on the bottom of it but it is wide and pretty hard for him to bite on so I wish that part was smaller so he could bite on either end of it.
