A: If you use lukewarm milk and regular yogurt culture, yogurt is done in the 8 hour setting and is quite good. Very hot milk does not give good results.

Q: Does the pressure cooker bundle pot have a setting that can be programmed to start cooking in its own at a specific time in the day. Like can I set for 5pm so that it starts cooking while I’m in the way home.

A: Typically, the IPs have a delayed start, e.g., 5 hrs, 8 hrs, etc, but not a specific time. There is a timer but not a clock.

A: The 6-quart Instant Pot 9-in-1 Pressure Cooker can cook up to 4 cups of uncooked white rice, which yields approximately 8 to 12 cups of cooked rice. For brown rice, the recommended maximum is around 3 cups uncooked, or about 6 cups cooked. For safety and best results, we recommend not filling the pot more than halfway when cooking rice, as it expands and can foam during pressure cooking.

Q: Hello, how do you use the delay start button? There is no button fo that and the time + and - does not go beyond 01:00 hours.

A: You can delay cooking if you’d like! Just press the Delay Start button (sometimes shown as a clock icon), then use the + / – or arrow buttons to set your delay time. This feature works with Pressure Cook and Slow Cook programs.

I liked this pressure cooker and did the job well, and easy to use (this was my first one). However after about 4 uses in less than 6 months, it just went dead. Seems to be an electrical problem or something. Based on other reviews, clearly I'm not the only one with this issue. It should be recalled as defective.

I love. I don’t use a microwave and I like this option of cooking without the drying heat of an oven. It makes steamed broccoli really well- simple, quick and consistent. Also gives me an extra food cooking station when the burners on the range are full. I recommend getting the double basket-you don’t need it to steam, but it’s much simpler.

All the functions work as directed. Today I cooked a whole chicken to perfection. Great to put all my normal ingredients for chicken broth and "ignore" rather than using my range top with huge stock pot. True the stock pot makes more broth but I just cook two batches in my Instapot.

I had an Instant Pot before that lasted for years—it was great quality and never gave me any issues. That’s why I decided to buy another one in November last year. This one was labeled as a model specifically for Target, but unfortunately, it’s been a huge letdown. I’ve used it fewer than 6 times, and now the lid won’t close at all. It’s only been 6 months, and the pot is already unusable. This is not the quality I expect from Instant Pot. Something seems off with this Target-specific version—whether it's lower build quality or poor design, I’m not sure, but it’s definitely not up to the standard I’m used to. Very disappointed and won’t be buying it again.

If I could give this experience zero stars, I certainly would. I purchased this Instant Pot in November 2024. I literally just opened the box about an hour ago. It was clearly a customer return to the store—no packaging, and not 100% clean. Okay. I forgave that, and cleaned it really good. Tried using it, and you guessed it! Doesn’t work. Now I am out of the return window. Is there any recourse for this situation, or am I just stuck with this inoperable appliance?
