Q: Got as a gift for Christmas and used it last night to cook french fries in the basket. After washing carefully with dish rag and Dawn, Water drops inside the glass this morning. ???

A: Hello Peggy! The watermarks inside the glass are likely caused by moisture remaining after washing. To help prevent this, we recommend wiping down the inside of the glass with a clean, dry rag before fully drying it.

I would like to give this product 5 stars...When I ordered , I believed it included accessories and 1800 watts...there were no additional accessories and the product was 1700 watts...thought the wrong product was sent - supposedly Target sent an 1800W replacement...after having the inconvience to repackage and bring to UPS before replacement would be sent. Finally, replacement arrived - IT WAS THE EXACT product I returned...1700W is not 1800W as is described by Target - I would call this false advertising! Unfortunately, I still do not have an 1800W product. Wish I could give the Air Fryer 5 stars - unfortunately - not...

Poor build quality and lack of warranty support
Plastic window cracked after a year of use and there are pieces trapped in the empty space. The plastic on the sides of the basket are warped now and doesn't seal properly. I tried contacting the manufacturer twice since April and I have yet to receive a response.

So Far, Good but this is not 1800W
I received this air fryer directly from the manufacturer when I ordered from Target. It arrived in the Instatpot box no outer shipping box. It appears well-made and is completely black in color. Although, the specifications as well as the Target heading for this item state it is 1800W it is 1700W (please refer to attached photo). The operation is simple and intuitive, the directions are easy to follow as well. I made a couple of meals so far that came out tasty and perfectly cooked- chicken drumsticks and bone-in pork chops. The cooking chamber is large but not super big especially when the manufactuere's instructions state not to have the food touching the sides of the cooking chamer or the food items touching each other. The Clear Cook window as well as the light are both nice extra features to help take a peek while the food cooks. Clean up was super easy but I did wash by hand with dish detergent and sponge. I cleaned the inside of the chamber with damp paper towels. I am looking forward to trying out different food items/recipes. Happy Air Frying to All!

I loved it until .....
The fan stopped after maybe using it 7 times. Only had it 9 days!! Wasn't even sure it wasn't working, it just wasn't making noise and there was a plastic odor. Going back today I will try another if they have one. Very disappointed.

I Use This All The Time
I have started using this as often as I use my microwave. It is super easy to use. You can use it for many things- chicken, mini corn dogs for your toddler, french toast sticks. I've even put an uncrustable in there. Everything comes out crispy and delicious. I clean it in the dishwasher and it comes out clean every time.

It was a great air fryer until about one year. First, the door cracked, then the silicone rubber on the tray broke, then the time numbers only partially display and now the "close door" message displays even though the door is closed! Garbage!

I love this air fryer, but the only thing I have a problem with is when I wash it a little bit of water gets inside the glass. This is an amazing air fryer it smelled the first time, but once I ran it for 20 minutes. It was fine.

We have purchased the Vortex Plus 6QT 4 times now,.... It would be a great Air Fryer -- IF IT LASTED.,...!!! -- At about 3 months the little tabs that trigger the 'CLOSE BASKET' switch wear out,.....So it will no longer allow you to cook anything,.....And at about 6 to 12 months something wears out on the Fan Motor so that it either rattles so much it slows and does not circulate the air or it stops rotating completely.We wish this product was made with quality parts and lasted,... however it is not even worth trying to send back for warranty repair,.... because it is stated that we must pay for the shipping both ways. So now we have 4 more thing to try to figure out how to dispose of,...... Yikes,.....!
