    I regret purchasing an iRobot product. The quality is terrible—my robot vacuum stopped working properly after just a few uses. It constantly gets stuck, misses areas, and requires more maintenance than it's worth. To make matters worse, the customer service is an absolute nightmare. I reached out for support, and not only was the process slow, but the representatives were unhelpful and dismissive. They offered no real solutions and seemed more interested in avoiding responsibility than assisting me. For a product at this price point, I expected much better quality and service. I will never buy from iRobot again and strongly recommend others look at alternative brands.

    Scammed me into sending my robot back then sent a voucher for only your website which is way more expensive than others. I would not recommend anyone buying an iRobot vacuum cleaner. Getting a shark from Best Buy and they're actually half your website price for the same model.

    I was excited to upgrade from the i9 7 seperate vacuum and mop set. But was so very disappointed. The mop head is so small it doesn't clean well. The vacuum dirt collector bin is so small it spits dirt especially clumps of dog hair back out. It would loose internet connection constantly. After a month of frustration I returned it for my original 2 piece set.

    Bought j9+ on July 2024.Initially it was working good on upstairs downstairs (on both the floors )very well when the base station remained downstairs .But the real problem started when the trail period and free returns ended.It stopped working upstairs when contacted the customer care the lady who spoke made us to reboot and carry the robot upstairs and downstairs for nearly 3 hrs and finally came up with the answer after discussing with technical team that we have to move the even the base station with robot to each floor to make it to perform or we have to buy new base station for each floor.Instead of investing nearly $1000 dollars for this garbage i mighty have went for lower cost models for each floor .Even the customer care lady she told the answer and didn't even wait for us she ended the call abruptly .Bought this robot mainly for my nerve pain and spine issues if I have to carry this much weight to each floor or I have to invest again and again in the same product it seems like this is genius way of looting people's hard earned money by hiding some real facts behind this.

    Wish I could return it

    This is the most high maintenance product I have ever owned. The amount of time needed to maintain this machine is equivalent to the amount of time it takes me to vacuum and mop myself. Here are the biggest draw backs 1. Stops working before it finishes the job, 2. The auto refill of mopping fluid leaks all over the floor, 3. doesn't charge properly (can't align itself in the correct position to charge), 4. Does a terrible job mopping, 5. Gets stuck very easily, 6. It is VERY loud 7. The replacement parts (filter, sweeping arm, rollers, mop pad) are very expensive and typically need to be replaced every 3 months. Also, if you have any issues with it, or need to make a return, be sure you have at least an hour to talk with a representative. It is a tedious and long process if you need to speak with their customer service. This product cost about $1,000. NOT WORTH IT!!!! And if you do purchase this and change your mind, make sure you return it within 60 days. That's all the time they give you for such an expensive product.

    Too many software issues

    This is the second vacuum I've had since the end of July 2023. IRobot had to replace the first one after about four months because of software problems. The second one hasn't been much better. I had to send it in to have the bumper replaced. I constantly have to remap my home because the robot continues to change and / or add new names to my home. The best I get from customer service is a factory reset, remapping, OR (and this is the best) send it in, BUT I must pay for it because it's out of warranty. The replacement didn't have a year warranty. It only had the remaining time of the original 1 year warranty. This show exactly how much dependability IRobot has in their products. DO NOT BUY AN IROBOT! There are better brands on the market.

    This has been the worst mistake i ever made, this is an extremely glitchy product, from day way presented issues, location error, parts need to be replaced too soon, customer service wont honor the warranty even if within return window, you have to do a lot of trouble shoot over the phone which will take over 2 hours, even disassemble it. I bought this on march 22nd, 2024, when it came they sent a defective one with a door that didnt close, my order number is Order Number: US01160441, i am telling you this is garbage, sadly i paid close to 1,500 for this garbage. Also leaves streaks all over the floor.

    J9+ Combo - TERRIBLE

    This review is for the J9+ combo, however this was the only way I could find to leave my review on the J9 + model instead. I have had several of the lower end roombas, I decided it was time to try the higher end model to see if there was a major difference. This robot is a $ 1,400 piece of junk brand new right out of the box. The base hardly ever works to empty the bin automatically or manually. The cleaner never wants to start on its schedule nor by trying to start it through the app, I have had to reboot this machine almost every time I need to use it to get it to operate. This defeats the purpose of its convenient purposes. When it cleans it does clean well, however the less expensive models would make more since to me if I'm having to be so hands on with this machine everytime it needs to clean. At this price and this brands reputation, I did expect much more from this robot, I would highly advise you stay away and find a similar product elsewhere or go with the cheaper models without the base as that seems to be what is so glitchy about this product!

    High Maintenance Item (Completely Dissapointed)

    This is my second time purchasing a Roomba smart vacuum. I loved my first I-robot, but once it stopped working, I knew I wanted another Roomba. This Roomba J9+ has been a painful item to use at home. It constantly gets stuck in places, and something constantly needs to be replaced or fixed (I am talking about almost daily). It has become more of a hassle to use than sweeping my floors. I am so disappointed to have paid so much for something that needs my daily attention. Additionally, the automatic empty vacuum is so loud that my daughter cries every time it goes off. If I could return it, I would totally do so.

    I would never buy this again

    I can count on one hand the number of jobs this robot has completed without an error. Either it's stuck, or can't dock, or can't charge, or battery dies despite being on the charger. Day one it told me the charging contacts needed cleaning. I should have sent it back then, but since it was financed I worried about getting a refund. When it works it cleans well. That's why it gets two stars. But I might as well be mopping and vacuuming myself since every time I have to manually plug it back into the dock and pray it charges. I have spoken to customer support any time I have an issue that doesn't go away by redocking it myself and they have been nice. But their walkthrough is the same things I do like resetting the robot. And the fact is I shouldn't have to do this every single time it cleans.

    This is a pretty good autonomous robot. The software is better than previous versions for sure it seems to avoid cords and cables even when the are moved around. It is easy to program to run on a schedule and even to keep out of certain areas. The self emptying is great but it is very loud. Overall I recommend this product.

    We bought Roomba vacuum & Mop Clean base Automatic dirt disposal j7+ not quite a year ago. Initially, it worked well and it still vacuums and mops nicely. The issue is that there is an error of some kind almost every time it runs but mostly the clean base doesn't function well at all. We have to use a brush every time to get fibers and dirt collected out of the vacuum to get it to run. The base says change the bag, which we do but it still says change the bag even when empty. What is the point of a robot vacuum that requires human intervention at every use? there is no point!

    I dont write reviews...mostly because people write stuff for free things or just to complain...or paid by competition. This is NEITHER or anything else that one may conjure up. This product is beyond bad! DO NOT buy, DO NOT waste your money....just don't. Here are the reasons why... - The app is crap...constant connectivity issues, lack of options, &non-intuitive. - The robot can't see when its the slightest bit dark, despite having a camera with light. I get countless of messages saying its too dark when vacuuming at 630 AM in the South...in the summer! - The spin brush stopped working 1 month in (nothing tangled or clogged). - The evacuation flap constantly gets stuck and mind you we have non-shedding dogs with limited dust...since the thing is supposed to vacuum everyday. - The vacuum takes 3 to 5 hours to clean a 1500 sqft space. Guess it depends on if its a full moon or not. - It constantly bumps into objects despite having a camera. Gets as bad as it ramming into doors even on frontward approach. - It leaves stuff on the floor...dust, lint, etc....CONSTANTLY. - Needs maintenance like 1 per month if not sooner. On a positive...its quiet when it vacuums (just not when it clears the dust bin...makes sense). This is by far the worst product I have every purchased. I was hoping that the switch to "American" product only to be disappointed time and again. Sorry iRobot. Roborock is light years ahead and I'm going back to my 5-year old product that got the job done right. Note, the only reason I switched was concern with foreign influence on home IOT devices...dont get fooled by some of the rhetoric like I did. To any buyers...get bot with LIDAR. Coupled with cameras, you have a machine that actually works. Don't waste your on any iRobot product IMO until they fix their product. Best of luck to the team at iRobot. Hope they can catchup. To the lucky ones that actually got a good product from iRobot...good for you (in all seriousness...you got lucky)!
