    You should never use this machine if you have dog or cat hair. It sucks and all I do is spend time.Removing here from the unit to keep it running. Now, today it went somewhere.It was not supposed to and has never gone before and is now stopped under a bed. I am not able to walk and am unable to retrieve the stupid thing. This was the biggest waste of money I have ever had

    I would give rooms zero stars if I could. Purchase a product for several hundred dollars and less than a year and a half later I need to buy new parts. If that wasn't irritating enough they no longer have the parts. Told you can buy a new one and get a trade in credit. Thanks for the trade offer of $50. I will say I give you 5 stars on a great business plan. Sell people junk products so they have replace. No thanks. I wouldn't purchase another product from you for anything.

    I have been having issues with this product after 4 months of purchase and now it's almost 1 month until my warranty to be expired, and the product stopped working, I call every day nd stay on the line with costumer service for over an hour and all they do to reboot the machine and next day is another issue , the finally escalated the issue to another department now they are emailing me with the same step to do and when I keep doing it on, I keep telling them that I've been doing it for days and days. They keep replying back with the same email I have never had such a bad experience with anything in my life. They're just dragging this so the warranty is expired so they don't have to send me another one. Please do not raise your money on this company

    Dies randomly. Usually can't finish even a small job without needing to charge back up for 3-4 hours. It would be better to save your money and have a dirty house. You'll be less frustrated with that outcome. I have trouble shot and reached out to customer service. No resolution. Buy a competitor's machine.

    Do NOT buy an older Roomba (960 and earlier) if...

    I used to love my 960, but all of a sudden it started acting like the Braava Jet 6 - which is 100% unacceptable. The Braava Jet can't handle alternating tile floors (like a chess board) It's behavior varied from randomly spinning in circles to drawing random shapes on the floor and then just going back to base. Like I said above I used to love my 960 - it behaved as well as it needed to, and did a very good job even if it was a little random here and there. Now the 960 does the same counter-productive stuff the Braava did. I don't know why it can't handle chess board tiles, but it seems like a pretty egregious oversight. I mean, some people have floors like that. 100% fail.

    After only using my IRoboy for 3 years it began giving me an error message that my bumper was stuck. I contacted the company requesting a repair or replacement which was denied. I was offered a $100 credit for a new vacuum which I find unacceptable as a vacuum should have a lifespan greater than 3 years.

    I have recently purchased a roomba como i5 vacuum and mop and I would NOT recommend it for these reasons - it takes 3 hours to do our main floor - you can only have 1 map - the side brush gets stuck every 12 feet - the mop function is useless if you have area rugs - vacuum repeatedly gets stuck on pillars and planters I feel nothing but stress and regret with this vacuum.

    Literally, the first time I used my brand new Roomba it fell down the stairs. I am also on my third machine. I had a machine, it didn't work so I called to complain, so they replaced it. I did this again and that's why I'm on my third machine. However, regardless of what machine I had, they never worked and constantly fell down the stairs. The last time I called customer service and told them about the issue with the stairs, they said "just don't run it by the stairs". I just threw away the third one. All of my Roombas have fallen downstairs and constantly have issues with its parts. It simply is not capable of cleaning my house with any consistency or regularity. This is literally the worst thing I've ever spent my money on for the house.

    It gets stuck more than 1/2 the time. It is unable to avoid pet toys, shoes, curtains, cords, etc.. It does a good job of vacuuming if it can complete the job but more often than not it just gets stuck or has to be disassembled to remove pet toys.

    I bought this Roomba in December 2024. Right after I headed down to my house in Florida. I didn't even set it up until yesterday. When it didn't go completely under my bed the support group said I would need to light the area so the Roomba can function correctly. There is no way I can light up the area under my bed. I asked for a refund and they said it's over 60 days, so no refund. I am very disappointed!

    At first, it started out pretty good cleaning very well. But it went downhill from there. I've had nothing but problem after problem after problem with this robot. It's supposed to make my life easier and all it does is aggravate me to no end. I think it's just the newer versions because a friend of mine has an older one, which is why I purchased this one, thinking that it would last and do a great job. It doesn't. The app is also terrible. It does not do a good job of mapping or showing you where it's cleaning. That's if I can't even get it to start.

    This was a complete waste of money. There are constant connection issues (unlike my entire smart house without a single issue), and when it can't connect to the WiFi, it doesn't work. I cannot manually start the vacuum or have it empty- NOTHING. It's the most useless waste of electricity I have ever purchased.

    Have had nothing but aggravation since buying this robot hoover. I have had two in the past which have been brilliant and well worth the money. Shame I can't say the same about this one. I spend all my time trying to sort out its latest problem. It seems to spend more time trying to empty its bin (which is usually already empty) and trying to charge rather than doing any cleaning! Total waste of money and time!

    90% of the time it gets stuck under the dining room table. If there was a feature that showed where it was located on the mapped area I think I could tell it not to go there but there is no way of telling where it is on the mapped areas. I have one of the first roomba's that ever came out and it was half the price of the j9+ piece of junk and it doesn't get stuck under the table. If roomba doesn't put out an update or something that will show me on the mapped areas where the machine is stuck so I can make a keep out zone then I will not purchase another roomba. As it is I have to vacuum when I get home anyway so what's the point of having this thing?

    This is my fourth (4th) Roomba. I've had them since they first started. I love Roomba, but this one is rotten. The mapping is atrocious. When traveling from home base to any room, if there's one single object in the path (wide open path, plenty of room to go around) it logs an immediate error that it can't clear and tries to return home. You can't pick it up and take it to a room because it doesn't recognize where it is, logs an error, and tries to return home (but usually ends up in a corner and spins its wheels). The app gives you ads every time you turn it on. It is nothing but frustration and my floors never get clean because of constant errors. I even factory reset, tried again (twice) and the same problems. I still use my old Roomba and just move it room to room. Don't bother.

    Worst Purchase I've Ever Made

    After 6 months of use, my wife and I conclude this is the worst purchase I've ever made. Our main floor is 1500 sq-ft with minimal opstacles and it is able to vacuum (not mop) most of the area once every couple of weeks, maybe. 99% of the time it gets "stuck" in the middle of the floor or it only vacuums the living room. I have tried to remap my house several times but it does not help. The mop also does a terrible job. The pad streaks and very little surface area actually gets mopped. I wish I would've returned it while I had the chance - horrible product!

    I wouldn't purchase ANY product from iRobot again! I have been 3 weeks trying to resolve an issue with the base but I keep getting told it's "in the escalation department". I was first told it was an "issue" with the base, that was their fault. I sent the pictures and even got an email stating that they would do anything to resolve this but here we are! Still waiting….but not so patiently! If your company knows it's a problem on their end, make it right!!! You can't speak to anyone who makes any sense! Please re-think purchasing from iRobot!
