Does not picking up hair on carpet at all
I got this for a christmas present and am so disappointed. It doesnt pick up dog hair on carpet at all. I'm not sure it's really vaccuming anything up, and when I check the dust bin is nowhere close to full. This machine should not even be classified as a vaccum. I dont expect it to pick up everything, but its truly not picking up any hair and just leaves clumps everywhere. I've tried deep clean mode to see if that helps, but it does nothing. As you can see the before and after images below show the vaccum tracks but all of the hair was just pushed around, im hoping the images aren't too small for people to see.

The first one I bought broke within six months of purchase. The one they replaced it with has constant issues with returning to the base, recalibrating location and movement. Not worth the price!

Not efficient at all.
Not as good as my last one I bought almost 10 years ago. That one died and worked very well , this one does not. It just goes around in a circle in one place. It won’t go over small bumps and just stays there. Mostly just stays in the same place , can’t go under my bed since we have a lower bed frame. This sucks , waste of money.

Roomba 105 vacuum
Very happy with this Roomba. It maps out your rooms and vacuums so thoroughly. It seems to be durable and it is good at avoiding objects that are taller than it. The only negative thing is the noise when it is emptying its bag to the base unit. Also, it did not come with any replacement parts (i.e. additional bags, brush, nor sensor brush). So far so good.

I like iRobot Roomba
This is my second Roomba. I got this Roomba 105 for vacuuming only. I have had a lot of trouble getting it to connect to my WiFi, finally it worked but I still have not found out how to get it to map my house! I am not very tech and the app is not very helpful like my old app for the former Roomba. I am still struggling with this one.

Do NOT buy.
We purchased this vacuum from Chewy, within a month it will not hold a charge and dies away from the base. I contacted support and was told since it was not purchased from an authorized dealer they will not stand by their product. This is very disappointing because it's still their product, yet we're expected to just eat the cost because they won't warranty the junk.

Very disappointed
We have used the roomba for a few months and had no problem until today when it ran over dog poop and smeared it absolutely all over my house. On my rugs, carpet, and literally every spot of the house. Called customer service because they previously stated they would replace your roomba if it doesn't avoid pet waste. Which it did NOT at all but they stated they changed their policy and it applies to only the j7+. I think it's ridiculous it was previously stated and now they won't. On top of that I have carpet and rugs all ruined now.

Best trade in ever!
I traded in my old 880 robot and put the rebate toward the Roomba 105 Vacuum with Autoempty Dock. I am thrilled with how great it cleans and best of all it empties itself. I ended up buying one for my daughter who as well loves it. It does a great job with dog fur. I had a great experience with every roomba I have owned. This one is a great product for the price if you're looking to just vacuum.

The worst Vacuum
I purchased two vacuums in April. 1 had to be replaced in August due to a battery issue. The other has been reprogrammed 4 times since they keep creating the maps wrong and gets stuck daily. These would be the 6-7 product that I've purchased from iRobot and the quality is horrible. They do not clean as well as the previous Vacuums I have purchased. Definity not worth purchasing this model.

I would not buy this again nor would I recommend it
We just began using the new robot today. It can't even clean our living room/dining room space without dying and needing to charge for a few hours. I can't believe how crappy the battery life is. It also vacuums in the most inefficient patterns, traveling all over the room to clean small sections instead of cleaning everything in the area at once. I started using the vacuum at 11:45 today and it STILL hasn't finished my one (albeit large) living room. I am dumbfounded how that's even possible. The amount of time wasted and stress of trying to figure out wth is going on, I could've just vacuumed myself faster.

I have had this for about a month, and it doesn’t suck, meaning it doesn’t vacuum the floors. I watch it go over areas that need clean up and the same crumbs are still there when it goes past. I want a refund. So disappointing, one would think that vacuums would be effective in this day and age. Especially when they are that expensive!

Not Great
Does a decent job vacuuming but battery life is poor and could use better suction. If you run it every day it will do a decent job. Mopping attachment is a total design failure. Supposed to navigate around carpet and rugs but EVERY time we run the mop cycle, due to the way the mop pad fits, it catches on the first obstacle (rugs, etc.) and yanks out the dust bin. We have to rescue it multiple times during a cycle.

Still working to setup my Roomba
The initial out of the box setup was easy, but getting the Roomba to map my area is challenging. I made the mistake of picking up the Roomba when it got stuck on an area rug. It seems that I have to start the mapping all over again. You do have to eliminate all the obstacles.
