Loud and slow, limited functionality
We replaced our old shark which died with this one. This unit seems to run all day on vacuum only and rarely gets done. It needs to recharge frequently. The unit is loud while running, and the evacuation at base is deafening. The app lacks basic functionality like commanding the unit to evacuate.

Worked great for a month, then got stuck in a loop
During the month I had it, it worked wonders. But suddenly it decided to malfunction. It got stuck on an endless loop of repeating "dust bin installed" "water bin is installed". Turning off and on again did nothing and it would continue its loop the moment it turned back on. Removing the dustbin/water tank also did nothing and its loop continued even with nothing installed. I tried a factory reset, and the moment it came to, the loop started up again. I took the bin out, cleaned it all, made sure the contacts were clean and still, the loop continued. It's now completely worthless to me because I can't get the loop to stop and it won't mop anymore, which is primarily the whole reason I purchased it. I feel like several hundred dollars were wasted.

I would definitely try a different brand
I have to run this when I'm home to get it unstuck from everything or rerun it because of a "water pump issue".

Amazing unit that works perfectly!
Straight forward and easy set up out of the box. The app and mapping function worked perfectly. We have been running the unit daily to keep up with our two dogs and grandkids. We use the Roomba brand cleaning liquid and it cleans very effectively. Our floors have never looked better!

This thing is absolutely horrible
It spins endlessly in one spot, gets stuck on literally everything, it's supposed to avoid obstacles but it's constantly, constantly, repeatedly, endlessly getting stuck. I will remove it from an area with an obstacle and it goes directly back and gets stuck again. It can barely even get over the edge of my very flat area rug. I used to have a complete base model, no ability to avoid anything, and I needed to get that thing unstuck less often than this one. It's a nightmare to run this awful thing. You're better off just cleaning the floor yourself because this cannot run unattended

Poor Battery Life
I’ve had this for less than a year and each time I use it, it never completes a cleaning in one run. It is fully charged when I use it and I only use it to sweep, not even mop. I have a small 750sqft apartment and it cannot complete a full run without shutting down in the middle of cleaning due to no battery. This is very disappointing for the price and not at all worth the money. If I could it again, I’d purchase a different brand.

Battery charge terrible!
We’ve had this for a little over two months and it’s very disappointing – every time we use it. The battery lasts 30 to 40 minutes max and then has to go back and charge. It takes literally an entire day before my one floor of less than 800 ft.² is cleaned. It has never cleaned the entire floor and one charge. I would’ve expected for this price that the charge would last more than 30 minutes.

I am very busy with my work and children so Roomba is my lifesaver. This is not only a vacuum cleaner, it also has a mop, mopping is a bonus for me, it’s very convenient. I also have a carpet, is t does a great job on carpet too. Definitely recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While the vacuum feature of the roomba works fairly well, the “mop” feature really isn’t doing much. You aren’t supposed to include any soap or anything and you have to immediately wash the pad after using. The charging station for the roomba is nice and small, but the roomba barely holds enough charge to vacuum a 950 sqft apartment. It is convenient if you don’t have time to vacuum, but I wouldn’t recommend buying this one. There are better roombas that require less maintenance and hold a better charge.

I’ve had other robot vacuumes and eventually stop using because they are a hassle. This one is easy. Maps the house great the first time, doesn’t freak out if I move furniture or change the path. It doesn’t get stuck or need to recalibrate constantly. Picks up and mops perfectly well for every day light cleaning. Moves easily from hard floor to carpet. Almost always completes the parts I give it access to on one charge - that’s 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, sun room and mud room.

I’m having trouble mapping out certain areas but I think that’s user error. Aside from that it was easy to get started. Decent battery life. I love that I can just have it on and going to pick up all of the little stuff that fall throughout the day without thinking about it and the mop feature is decent. It’s not quiet but a lot less loud compared to my steam vac and vacuum.

So far my husband and I have been loving the Roomba 105 it’s great for cleaning our non carpeted floors and it’s so convenient not having to sweep or mop. I also really love the vacuum itself. It picks up a lot and has a pretty good run time. We were able to program it to clean for us every day before we head to work. I feel like the roomba makes noise but is still more quiet than other vacuums we have tried. The picture I included was the dust in so you can actually see how much it picks up! Overall I’m very happy with this it makes some noise but it is expected. Really good experience setting it up and using it overall.
