iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum & Mop Easy-to-Use, Intense Power-Lifting Suction, Multi-Surface Cleaning, Avoids Mopping Carpets, Self-Charging

The vacuum works amazingly well. However, the mop does not scrub. It is simply dragged across the floor, leaving steaks behind. If you need a combo machine, there are better options.

It has been a learning curve. For various reasons that were not my Roomba's fault, but issues on my end, it's taken a couple days to get things going to my (and I think the robot's) satisfaction. One issue was finding a good accessible place to dock. Tried hallway first, but that was not great for the humans. Then tried in a carpeted bedroom (more a library really), but Isaac couldn't find his way home, kept coming very close, but just could not quite get there. I finally decided the dock being against the wall, on carpet, was causing this. I took a flat cutting board large enough from my kitchen and set the base on that, and Isaac now finds it with no problem. Another thing was our power recliner chair cords. I had to figure out how to list those up and out of the way (and not look weird), and now those don't hinder Isaac, and I don't need to resort to blocking off that area. After sorting all that out, I remapped, then Isaac worked his little butt off for a solid hour before needing to recharge. He has a bit more to finish once he gets his rest. The floors here have never looked better. I have wished for a good quality robot vac for ages but never thought I'd be able to afford one. I finally bit the bullet when I saw I could get a Roomba at this price; still, a brief nagging "do I really need to spend even this much on this?" almost led me to try cancelling my order. I'm now glad I was not able to do that. This is one of the best purchases I ever made. I have fatigue and joint issues, and having a good robot vac to do the majority of the floor cleaning is extremely valuable to me.

Wet mops and vacuums. Quickly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little guy is pretty decent for light use. Having 2 cats it is helpful in keeping the cat hair from getting out of control. It took a little bit to get the floor plan mapped and created but it wasn't difficult to do. The app is fairly simple to understand and use. It's easy to create automated run schedules and specific locations to run. Performance wise it is fine for light maintenance runs. It doesn't do well picking up cat litter that has been tracked around the litter boxes but it's great for running and picking up cat hair.

It’s my first robot vacuum, and it was very easy to setup. It moves around a bit randomly, but eventually covers the space pretty well. Great for small spaces or as a low-maintenance cleaning helper. Now I’m able to come home from work with a clean space and don’t have to worry about vacuuming anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest I was super excited to get this Roomba and really wanted to love it BUT I didn't. SETUP: There were no instructions in the box just a QR code. Since my phone couldn't read the QR code I had to download the app BUT there were a couple of apps in the Google playstore so I initially downloaded the incorrect app, had to delete that, and download another app. MAPPING: THIS WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE! I have a three story home and tried to start by mapping the foryer but that didn't work out well because it seems that the Roomba needs to start and finish at the charging station, let's be realistic how's that supposed to work? Are we supposed to move the charging station to each floor for mapping and cleaning each time we want to use it? FINAL THOUGHTS: This was supposed to be a wireless convenience I found this to be very inconvenient. I'm putting it back in the box and using my regular vacuum.

I love that I can easily schedule cleaning times from my phone from anywhere so I can always come home to clean floors. It keeps up with my pet hair really well! The doc fits nicely in my space and isn’t annoyingly huge. I absolutely love this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I really like this product. I waited a few weeks to post my review so I can use it multiple times and use the vacuum and mop features. When I first opened it, the set up was very easy. I had to connect it to the wifi then to my phone. I had it map out my apartment which said it could take up to 30 minutes but only took about 10 for my 850sq ft apartment. I used the vacuum feature numerous times and it did a good job. I will still need to use my regular vacuum, but this does the job for in-between full cleans. I've emptied the dirt bin a few times and you can tell it does pick up a decent amount of stuff. I used the mop feature in my kitchen, and it was ok. Same thing, I will still need to mop with cleaner as the Roomba only cleans with water, but it does the job for nightly cleans after dinner. I like that it can vacuum and mop at the same time. It also does a good job as sensing where the carpet is and will not mop on the carpet. The only thing that is sometimes very annoying is that its hit or miss when it has to back "home" to the charger, sometimes it can dock without a problem, and sometimes it tries for so long and then I get an error and I have to go lift it and bring it to the base. The battery charges fairly quickly and lasts the whole cleaning cycle of my apartment. The noise fluctuates depending on the type of cleaning you choose, the highest suction on carpet is the loudest, but not too loud. I can still watch tv at normal volume.

Roomba runs off app and there are many features mop/vac only,spot clean,cleaning levels,room setup, etc. The noise is minimal didn't bother me or s/o while working. Can use with water only if you like so it's extra affordable! Vacuum and mop is a good daily clean. Floors aren't soaked after mopping. Good at vacuuming hair if pets are a part of your family! Roomba auto stops for people, so no worries of bumping into little ones or pets! Comes with a brush and blade to clean when needed. Roomba goes home when it needs a charge. Kinda fun to play with and setup.Roomba is great!

It's low noise level and even options for deeper cleaning, spot cleaning, and room choices. I was impressed with the combination of vacuum and moping. I was scared to put water inside but it worked. It mops the floor and it only leaves it damp, not wet. This is one of the best surprises I've ever received in my life. It's so convenient, as I have back issues and have difficulty vacuuming with an upright vacuum. This technology is unmatched and I can't wait to share my experiences with the world.

The app has nice features and goes through setup well. I think it takes awhile for the water solution to work through the line first use. Don’t get discouraged. And can see that it definitely picked up the dog hair. The app gives the ability to set days/times of the week and designate rooms in the cleaning routine. As well as “no mop” areas can be set for the carpeted rooms. I have three dogs and a cat.. so a lot of every weekend. I’m hoping this will cut down through the week.

It doesn’t use too much water , it’s just the right amount. Also, the water tank is right next to the vacuum container so it makes for easy emptying and refilling. I seriously couldn’t recommend this vacuum/ mop more . It’s not too loud either. I wish I would have gotten it sooner!!! My floors are happy (:

Not only did it perfectly clean my floors, but it did so with barely any obstacles or troubleshooting. The app was easy to use and I was able to connect to a human agent using the chat feature almost immediately. I have never owned a Roomba or any kind of automatic floor cleaner so I was very excited to receive this product for free in exchange for my review. My apartment was also a great place to test this product since I have gone longer than I should without mopping and my floor was not the cleanest before the product arrived. I also stopped sweeping for about two weeks to really test what it can do. Out of the box set up was easy. There is a QR code to scan on the box to make sure you get the correct version of the app. Once downloaded, you just have to add your wifi, snap in a few parts and let it charge. The initial mapping went smoothly as the robot moved around my home using its physical sensors and LIDAR, essentially an invisible laser to map my apartment. Once the map is created you can name seperate rooms and edit the map manually if needed. I was surprised to see that it was intuitive enough to separate my living, kitchen, and bedroom automatically. It did think my hallway and bathroom were one room, but the app had an easy tool to fix that. You can assign different cleaning levels to areas with more traffic to customize the amount of clean that you need. When I set it off on its first clean I was surprised how efficiently it worked. I thought that it would mop and vacuum separately, but it was able to do both at the same time! It moved in a precise pattern the same way one would mow a lawn and none of its movements felt random. I have a fitness pole in the middle of my room and it was able to detect it and clean around it in a precise circle. I tried to step in front of it suddenly a few times in bare feet and it was able to either quickly stop or divert itself before hitting my feet. It was quiet enough for me to watch tv while it worked, and I barely used half the battery in my hour plus of testing. After its initial clean I tested the “spot clean” feature to send it to a specific two by two foot square of my floor. This feature was great and it was not hard to get it to go exactly where I wanted. The fact that it cleans with water alone also means that it will be great at cutting out the expense of a floor cleaner, but I believe you can fill it with your cleaner of choice as well. I tried to confuse it a few times by picking it up and moving it around, but it was able to detect that it had moved and figure out where on its “map” it was. The bottom of the device has a handy removable tool with a brush and a small blade tucked away, I assume for cutting off any shoelaces that get caught in it. While I did get one shoelace I missed tangled, it immediately stopped and announced a disruption. I was able to get it out easily without needing the knife. My only complaint is that the mop pad can be a bit tricky to attach to the device, but once it’s in it is sturdy. The mop pad itself is removable and washable. I’m really excited to own this device. I never thought I would spend an hour or two turning what used to be a chore into a fun observation of current technology. I would definitely recommend this device if like me you both don’t really like cleaning but also want a home that is always clean.
