Battery life
Meh. Bought this as an upgrade for our old Roomba that has many years on it. Before purchasing, I read multiple accounts of the battery not lasting. I erroneously made the assumption that it was due to those using it for the mopping option. I had plans to only use it to sweep, no mopping, and the battery would last longer. I was wrong. It has to return to the charger no less than 3 times while sweeping the downstairs area of my house, roughly 1500 sq ft. It also gets stuck various times. At times I feel like I’m having to supervise a toddler. I never thought my at least 5 y/o Roomba would be better than an upgraded model!

Great hardware, frustrating software
When it's actually running, I love this thing. The Roomba 105 Combo vacuums great and picks up exactly what it should. The issue is the app and connectivity and it's a big one. The point of purchasing a robot vacuum is to remove a stressor: It constantly reports that the Roomba isn't connected to the internet, even when it's right next to the router. It repeatedly tells me to move the robot closer, which is ridiculous because it's basically on top of the router. I went through all the troubleshooting steps (including setting up a 2.4GHz network for compatibility) and it did help get it set up, but the app still crashes almost every time I open or use it. That makes scheduling, mapping, and basic control way more annoying than it should be. If iRobot fixes the app stability and connectivity, this would be a 5-star product. As it stands: excellent cleaning performance, terrible app experience and for this price, that's hard to justify.

Wow, what a waste!
I received this Roomba model from iRobot as a replacement for a defective, discontinued unit I had purchased from them. While the vacuum function performs adequately for general cleaning, the wet mopping feature is essentially unusable in my home. The robot cannot cross over carpets or rugs with the mop attachment installed — it gets stuck on even small transitions or thresholds. Since my house has a mix of hard floors and carpets, this limitation means I have to remove the mop pad entirely for most cleaning runs, defeating the purpose of a combo vacuum-mop. As a result, it's reduced to functioning primarily as a basic vacuum, with the mopping capability being ineffective and inconvenient. I appreciate iRobot providing a replacement, but this model doesn't fully meet the needs of a mixed-floor household.

Cannot recommend enough
Absolutely improved my quality of life as someone who has difficulties vacuuming and mopping traditionally due to mobility issues. My house is clean and I'm not in pain, I love this little robot!

Worst irobot
This is the worst irobot I have ever owned. The bin is not bit at all, it dies extremely quick, I have to create a map instead of just letting it clean. I could go on about how crappy this is. If I could buy another I would but I havent had this one for 2 or 3 months and I hate it.....

I love my Roomba
The iRobot Roomba 105 Combo Vacuum & Mop has made my floors easier to clean and keep clean. There are still some spots (particularly in the kitchen) that still need a little more old-school man power to really get clean. Uploading the app and programing the Roomba is pretty easy and there are many videos (and fans) on-line that help you with it step by step. Nevertheless, my place looks amazing thanks to the Roomba.

Returned after 1 day
I'm so disappointed. I had a 2 year old Roomba 105 and loved it. Except the battery stopped charging (which I've been reading is a common issue). I invested in the 105 combo, expecting to love it even more. Boy, was I mistaken. It mapped the room okay, but not great. Then when I actually tried running it, it couldn't go over even the thinnest area rugs. It just kept spinning and spinning until I moved it, which defeats the whole purpose. It left a ton of debris even after several passes, the "mopping" is really just damp dusting, it doesn't really mop. Either way, it did not work because it wouldn't cross any area rugs and the just spun around aimlessly. I returned it that same day. Will not purchase again.

Great for the price
I have an older roomba vacuum so this 105 vac plus mop is an upgrade for me especially for the price point. It does a great job keeping up with my dogs muddy prints on my floor. Only thing I did t realize it It doesn't know when out of cleaning fluid so will continue mopping when fluid is gone. Pads are still wet so technically still cleaning I guess

I just got my new Roomba and it is averaging only half an hour on a charge. I would suggest you buy a different Roomba.

Our 105 had a rough start but things have gotten better
We got the 105 because, even tho we don't have any pets, something was sneaking in under our sliding glass door during the summer and biting us. I basically wanted something to vacuum downstairs, every day, before anyone went down there and got chewed up. Since we got the 105, nobody has been bitten and we're at almost 2 months now. Frustratingly, it was not making its way back to the charging dock. I called iRobot customer service and on the second call, the technician, while looking at the picture of the 105 in its home, suggested that the carpet may be hindering the 105 from properly reconnecting to its charging points and to find a hard surface to keep it on. We went to an office supply store and bought one of those cheap plastic floor mats for desk chairs with the slanted lip. It's been amazing ever since. The success rate of returning to the docking station is almost 100%. As far as the 105 itself, it's a great time-saver. I set up automatic routines and the vacuum does its thing, on its own with only regular maintenance that I ever think about the 105. We don't have any pets, but it does great at picking up hair, dust, anything in the carpet. If all you want is just a vacuum and not the combo vacuum/mop, it's perfect and it doesn't cost that much. In fact, we loved the great job the 105 was doing downstairs, that we bought the combo 505 for the kitchen and living room.

Great vacuum, less than ideal mop.
The vacuum works amazingly well. However, the mop does not scrub. It is simply dragged across the floor, leaving steaks behind. If you need a combo machine, there are better options.
