Description

Nature’s answer to gentler infant digestion.

Hi, we’re Kendamil - proudly family-owned and crafted in Europe since 1962. For over 60 years, our team has been dedicated to raising the standards for infant formula with our signature recipes.

Kendamil Goat Infant formula is a naturally gentle formula for babies with sensitive digestive systems. Made with goat milk instead of cow’s milk, goat milk predominantly contains A2 beta-casein proteins, which match the proteins found in breast milk and have been shown to be easier to digest for sensitive babies. The A2 proteins in goat milk form smaller, softer casein curds, promoting gentler digestion. For infants experiencing digestive discomfort such as constipation, gassiness, and reflux, using goat milk formula may reduce the likelihood of these symptoms occurring, making it a natural alternative for infants with sensitive tummies.

Whole milk fats and lactose replace palm oil, soy, and corn syrups while creating a naturally creamy formula closer to breast milk and wholesome by nature.

Our award-winning formulas meet the highest standards for infant formula set forth by Europe and the United States, guaranteeing exceptional quality for your family.

Certified Vegetarian

Always consult with your healthcare professional if you have concerns that your infant is suffering from Congenital Lactase Deficiency.

Q: We are on day 5 of feeding Kendamil goat, and our 4.5-month-old has gotten worse every night, waking an hour after bed and screaming inconsolably for hours. Do we need to switch again? Every formula is the same to the pediatrician.

submitted by cr202 - 9 months ago
  • A: The screaming is bc of the “well visits”….. not the formula.

submitted byJac - 8 months ago
  • A: Hi Cr202, We generally recommend a transition period of 7-14 days to allow your baby’s digestive system to completely adjust to a new formula, even if you are simply moving to another stage of the same formula brand. Gas, constipation, and fussiness are fairly common reactions to a new formula. Because of this, we recommend introducing the new formula gradually by slowly swapping bottles of the current or “old” formula with Kendamil, starting with the midday feeds first and not the feeds before bed. It can be a good idea to slowly introduce new formulas to allow for their tummy to adjust. We do recommend speaking to your healthcare professional before making any changes to your little one’s diet that you are concerned about.

  • A: Hey new mom here to a 2 month old. We also experienced this for a few days and had to get gas relief drops for her to take a couple feedings a day. Don’t know if you tried that yet but would recommend.

submitted byKD - 9 months ago

Q: my daughter currently uses Kendamil Goat and they are out of stock everywhere in my area, would it be ok to substitute to Kendamil Organic?

submitted by Substituting formula - 6 months ago
  • A: Use the HotStock app to get notifications and keep an eye on shipping it to you from Target. That’s how I have been keeping on top of it. As soon as you get a notification it’s available for delivery add it to your cart and check out. You can get two at a time. This is how I’ve been able to keep up.

submitted byChristina - 5 months ago
  • A: Hi and thanks for the great question. We can help you find the best option for your family. Yes, we recommend trying Kendamil Organic or Kendamil Classic. Like all of our formulas, they are both European-made with whole milk fats - each formulated to a whey:casein ratio to closely mimic that of breast milk. Plus, all of our recipes include our unique prebiotic blend of HMOs and GOS, with the addition of FOS in our Classic formula, and EU levels of plant-based DHA and ARA.

Q: Has anyone had problems with constipation in their baby? I started giving this milk to my baby from his first week of life, he was assimilating it well but pooping once a day and it is difficult for him to poop.

submitted by Aye - 8 months ago
  • A: This is normal for formula fed babies.

submitted byBabelfish - 8 months ago
  • A: Try adding a little organic blackstrap molasses to his bottles

submitted byRastaMama - 3 months ago
  • A: We always advise parents to consult with their child's pediatrician or healthcare professional before switching baby milk or introducing formula for the first time, particularly if their baby has feeding issues. If you decide to switch, it may take a little while for your baby to adjust entirely to new baby milk. We generally recommend a transition period of 7 - 14 days, during which you can gradually introduce the new formula.

Q: Is there a way to adjust the toddler goat milk formula to make it acceptable for a 5 month old? It is the only formula he will eat and it is constantly out of stock in the infant variety!

submitted by Hungry infant - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi Hungry Infant and thanks for the question. We would not recommend giving our Toddler milk to your little one if they are under 12 months old, as the nutrients in it are specially formulated for that age group. Please reach out to our team at enquiries@kendamil.com so we can provide some individual suggestions for you and your baby, based on their needs. Hope this helps!

Q: Hello , can the water be boiled via microwave for easy connivence for the teachers at daycare when they watch my 5 month old baby ?

submitted by May - 1 month ago
  • A: Hi May, thanks for the great question! We don’t recommend using a microwave to boil water for formula preparation as it can heat unevenly, create hot spots, and may not bring water to a proper rolling boil, which is important for safety. We advise following NHS guidance, which recommends using freshly boiled water (cooled no lower than 70°C/158°F) when preparing formula feeds. Various guidance here (NHS/WHO/FDA) suggests all feeds should: be used within 1 hour from the start of feeding, be used within 2 hours from preparation, and be used within 24 hours if cooled immediately and placed in the back of the fridge. We recommend preparing each feed fresh and on-demand as that is best practice and as per advised by the NHS. However, in any instance where this is not possible, where you need to transport a feed (for example, to a nursery), prepare the feed at home, cool under a running tap or in a bowl of cold water, and cool it for at least 1 hour in the back of the fridge. Take it out of the fridge just before you leave and carry it in a cool bag with an ice pack, and use it within 4 hours. If you do not have an ice pack, or access to a fridge, the made-up infant formula must be used within 2 hours. Let us know if you have any other questions - we’re always happy to help!

Q: Does Kendamil Organic help to lessen the eczema?

submitted by Rose - 6 months ago
  • A: Hi Rose, Whilst we know our products inside and out as all babies are different and there are a number of factors that could trigger eczema in a child we would always recommend speaking with your GP or healthcare professional for advice on treating this condition in your little one.

Q: The UK goat infant formula (0-6 months) has 0.7mg of iron, while the US formula (0-12 months) has 1.1mg of iron. Is that too much for my 2 month old? Should I purchase the UK version?

submitted by T - 7 months ago
  • A: The UK version is 0.7mg of iron per 100mL. While the US version is 1.1mg per 5 US fl oz. Converting the US version to mL would be approximately 1.1mg per 147.868mL. Being that the UK version’s ratio is 0.007mg/mL, we can then multiply by 147.868mL to obtain the amount of iron in mg. 0.007mg/mL * 147.868mL = 1.0351 mg or ~1.04mg. Seems there’s only a 0.06mg difference.

    submitted byUser1037 - 7 months ago
  • A: All of our formulas are fortified with iron and always have been as it is required to meet the growing needs of all infants. In the US the FDA requirement is that infant formula, regardless of manufacturer, should contain a minimum of 1mg per 100kcals and our Infant Goat meets this requirement at 1.1mg. I can assure you this is not 'too much', if you have any concerns please contact your pediatrician. Hope this helps!

Q: Which baby Brezza advanced pro setting for the 0-12 goats milk formula??

submitted by Jac95 - 10 months ago
  • A: Setting 4. Fill in all the questions and it will tell you for any formula https://babybrezza.com/pages/formula-pro-global-settings-finder

submitted bySusie - 3 months ago
  • A: We always advise parents to follow the NHS gold standard when it comes to bottle making. They advise that you should prepare each bottle with freshly boiled water, following the directions on the can, right before feeding. For guidance regarding Baby Brezza or any other prep machines we suggest you speak directly with the manufacturer. Hope this helps!

Q: Can you refrigerate the goats milk?

submitted by LYNETTE - 1 year ago
  • A: We always advise parents to follow the NHS (National Health Service) gold standard when it comes to bottle making. They advise that you should prepare each bottle with freshly boiled water, following the directions on the can, right before feeding. Once your little one has fed from a bottle any remaining formula needs to be discarded if not consumed within 1 hour. If you are preparing your bottles in advance for storage at home the NHS advise the following - in a fridge – use within 24 hours, in a cool bag with an ice pack – use within 4 hours, at room temperature – use within 2 hours. If you have further questions please reach out to our team of parents at enquiries@kendamil.com .

Q: The answer about Iron from Kendamil is misleading in 2 different ?s here. In one answer, they say they have switched back to the UK Iron Pyro. In a diff response, they say this summer. When will it be

submitted by Ep24 - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi E92 and thanks for the question, happy to help with this one. We expect that our goat milk will also transition in 2024, although this recipe has remained unchanged for a number of years and is currently enjoyed by thousands of families across the country. Our primary focus is on meeting the phenomenal demand we have seen for this product. Hope this helps clarify the matter for you, if you have any further questions please don't hesitate to reach out to our team of parents at enquiries@kendamil.com who'll be happy to help.

my son was drinking kabrita but i noticed kendamil was a bit cheaper so i tried it out and while he liked it, it made him gassier and his poop runny, more colic and lots of crying. i also noticed it is more gamey and the clumps are bigger. for us , we will go back to kabrita.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re sorry to hear Kendamil didn’t work out for your little one — we know every baby is unique, and what suits one may not suit another. We also understand that changes in digestion can happen when transitioning formulas, though we always recommend speaking with your pediatrician if you have any concerns about symptoms like gas, colic, or changes in stool. We truly appreciate you giving Kendamil a try and wish you and your little one all the best on your feeding journey.

Formula order delayed - 23 days ago, Verified purchaser
Ordered on Aug 6, was supposed to be delivered august 8. I still don't have a tracking number for this - just a note that it's delayed. Unacceptable. Any postpartum mom will know this is not acceptable. Makes me doubt the brand too - because it's not easy to find and Target is one of the main carriers. Doubt we'll use kendamil going forward and will opt for something similar that target does not carry.
1 reply from Kendamil USA team - 22 days ago
Hi, thank you for your feedback and I’m so sorry to hear about the delay with your Target order — I completely understand how frustrating this must be, especially with a newborn. As Kendamil does not manage Target’s ordering or shipping process directly, we would recommend contacting Target’s customer service so they can investigate and provide tracking details for you. We truly value your support and hope this experience won’t deter you from enjoying Kendamil in the future.

I love this formula. I found out that my baby has a milk allergy and I was looking into formula options made with goats milk since it's easier to digest. I'm really impressed with the ingredients in Kendamil. It's made from whole goats milk not fat free/skim milk which is typically what formula is made from. It also doesn't contain a lot of fillers like a lot of formulas on the market. My baby loves it too. It's very easy for her to digest and she's been able to keep it down. Best goat formula on the market.

We have switched our baby boy so many times on different formulas , he was chocking and projectile vomiting with every formula we tried , he was so constipated and just in pain , wouldn’t sleep or lay on his back and would just scream. We switched him over to Kendamil Goat Formula and he has changed so much and absolutely loves it 💗 Thank you so very much for your business !

My newborn LOVED this formula as it was easier to digest compared to cow's milk powder 🙏

Thank you so much Sally for this wonderful review. We are incredibly proud of our British heritage and our farming supply chain and will continue to work hard to give our families and little ones more of that goodness.
