A: yes you can the door is actually a frosted door like most microwaves, to the others the bulb type you will need to contact kenmore with the part number, and it is 1000 watts.

Q: Does the microwave just have 1 light on the right hand side? I just got this & I thought the light was brighter but now it is not & there are no lights lighting up on the left hand side. Have only had less than 2 weeks.

A: We just bought ours and I was wondering the same thing. There's only one light on the right hand side and it's very dim inside. Our old microwave was so much brighter inside. Thanks for answering

A: Child lock can be deactivated by pressing and holding 0/UNLOCK key for 3 seconds. The display will indicate "Loc". Then, press 7 key followed by pressing 9 key. The display will show "ULoc".

Purchased on sale before Thanksgiving for an excellent price. I will agree with others that it's not the absolute best quality unit but for the price you can't go wrong! It is louder than my last microwave but that doesn't matter to me. The biggest worry I *HAD* and will clarify is the "Child Lock" IT HAS A LABEL WITH INTRUCTIONS RIGHT ON THE DOOR HOW TO DISABLE THE FEATURE! It remains disable until unplugged! so I just put the label on the back of the machine incase I forget how to disable it after a power outage and will disable it again as I set the clock. easy!
