Q: Does the microwave just have 1 light on the right hand side? I just got this & I thought the light was brighter but now it is not & there are no lights lighting up on the left hand side. Have only had less than 2 weeks.

A: We just bought ours and I was wondering the same thing. There's only one light on the right hand side and it's very dim inside. Our old microwave was so much brighter inside. Thanks for answering

They sent the correct box but it was visibly previously opened and taped up and inside was a different brand of microwave, not a Kenmore but a "TAPPAN" brand. It was broken too with missing parts. Did you send me someone's used microwave that they returned instead of the Kenmore? At least the store took it as a return. I didn't want to risk trying to order another one, so we got a microwave somewhere else.

Didn't even last 2 months
I bought it the end of August. It worked fine, a bit louder than my old microwave but we got used to it. All of a sudden, last night it started acting strange. When you closed the door it ran by itself for a few seconds (no buttons pressed) and then it stopped and the buttons wouldn't work. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Same issue. I was afraid it would explode or something. Thankfully it was under warranty and I was still able to return it.

Worth buying for occasional use.
This microwave is loud! I don't mind because we just use it for a few minutes at a time for reheating. if you are cooking meals in your microwave, this may not be the one for you. It's probably only a three-star microwave if you're going to use it pretty heavily. The child lock was easy to turn off. I purchased some non-slide pads for the feet since it was moving across my counter every time we touched it. It does seem to keep time and heat my food properly though, which is more than I can say for the one that this replaced.

Total Dissapointment , I thought Kenmore was a good brand but oh! surprise this microwave do not heat food I put 3 minutes and my food still cold and the cherry on top is that it makes an awful grinding loud noise... I'll be returning this asap....
