    What a piece of junk.

    It can’t handle the simplest of tasks. Chopping is too fine and puree is to course. Can’t make a simple mirepoix or humus. Useless waste of money.

    Garbage. Acoid

    I have no idea why this thing has so many high ratings, it’s a complete piece of garbage, it’s built like something you would get at the dollar store honestly it came with zero instructions on how to use, and I had to dig through multiple layers of the Internet for even basic instructions.

    Buyer Beware: check online for other reviews that clearly show this item has many flaws, from frustrating lid to problems with premature failure. Kitchen Aid does not stand behind this product and offers no solutions past the 1 year warranty. If you just need a disposable mini-chopper, the Kitchen Aid KFC3516 will be perfect for you! Otherwise, the score is a ZERO stars!

    Powerful Chopper

    This is a powerful little food chopper. The 3.5 cup capacity is nice when I don't want or need to pull out my full size food processor. I have used it mostly for vegetable prep/chopping and to make dips (puree setting makes a great hummus). Typically just a few pulses have been needed needed for most jobs. One start deduction...the bowl/lid is a bit fussy to get into the exact spot where the chopper will turn on. After a couple unsuccessful attempts adjusting one or the other, I ended up just taking both off and reseating - that did the trick. I am also not a big fan of the on/off method of pushing down on the top of bowl/lid handle...the contact area seems a bit flimsy to me. I am worried about cracking the plastic when I push down on it. I would prefer an actual switch or button. Time will tell. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

    Don't waste your money. Choose another brand. The lid is impossible to separate for cleaning. I won't use anything I can't clean properly, and ripped my nails into the nail bed trying to open it even after reading instruction and video over andover, so may as well pitch in the garbage. I wish I could give it zero stars.

    GREAT product

    My husband bought this for me and I just love it! Its just the right size for what I use it for. It minces up garlic in just seconds! makes making salsa and small batches of Pesto a breeze and is easy to use and clean. I would HIGHLY recommend this product.
