I thought they are too hard to close/snap shut,after several times, I managed afew to stay in.

I'm very pleased with this purchase. I travel often, but I don't want to pack bulky heated tools for my fine, straight hair. I take sections of damp hair, roll them up, and go to sleep. The next morning, I wake up with wonderful wavy curls!

Unfortunately, they didn't work for me. The satin finish made them slide right out of my hair.

Maybe I am the princess from the pea story, but there's no way I could sleep in these. They're just not that comfortable, and pull your hair as you move your head against the pillow. That said, I put them in during the day in the run up to an evening event and they work just as well that way. They are quite fiddly, and it's very difficult to roll them in such a way that you can link them all togtlike in the instructions, but they do still work. You might just need to pin some of them in place so they don't flop around.

I FINALLY got brave enough to try these and love the results. I always use the heatless curler rod but wanted a change. I used all six and could only do the front half of my hair. Need to order another set but I love how soft and loose my front curls are. Wondering if there is any thought of making a little larger size? Definitely have some technique learning with these but loving them so far.

I want to start by saying that my hair- while normal slightly wavy, takes curl well and holds it well- even with out any product but a leave in conditioner. That said- I use these with my freshly washed and damp hair and sleep on them over night. I will be adding some sort of bonnet to the mix to hold them in place as that is the one super annoying piece- they move and the hair can come lose overnight. Some helpful hints- Don't wrap too tight or you will get the close up pic down below. Super tight ringlets that may or may not relax lol. Moderate wrapping and giving them time to fall gives you the other pic I posted. But this is a game changer for generally low maintenance folks like me who don't want to have to spend the time heat styling (or the heat on your hair) and can put this in and just head to bed. They are comfortable to sleep on ( I was SUPER skeptical) and they definitely get the job done- but be patient and trial and error until you figure out placement and tightness of curl. I think for me- the Jumbo (thicker barrel) rollers would've been the better go for me- but these are great. I took one star off because the snaps are SUPER hard to work with and the mechanism for getting them to hold to each other is awkward- again- I am hoping to solve the overall problem with a sleep bonnet.

They're really soft and silky, and I really wish I could use them since my hair is so easily damaged.

I'm so grateful for these rollers. The snaps are perfect and they are the same diameter as the regular heatless curling rod. I use a few of these on the back/top portion of my hair when using the heatless curling rod with the rest of the hair. I'm able to link them in top of my head so I can easily sleep in them. I use the same technique as the rod to wrap hair around and secure with a thin satin scrunchie. The curls come out just like the curls in the rod and my hair looks fabulous!! (I also use the jumbo flexi rods in the same way when using the X-large heatless rod with similar results, just larger curls). Also if you have short hair, using that method with several of these (may need 2 boxes) would produce fabulous curls for those whose hair doesn't reach the heatless rod.Love, love, love my Kitsch items, especially the shampoo and conditioner bars. I use/rotate every set except the purple biotin and sensitive and can't believe how fabulous the results have been. I'm 44 and I finally have hair so healthy it holds a curl for 2 days, and sometimes even into the 3rd day!!! I no longer need mousse and 2 separate gels to achieve lasting curls. Also works great with a light mist of the new leave-in conditioner!! Thank you, Kitsch!!
