L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Mascara - 0.28 fl oz

I don't know what the company did but they ruined a perfectly good mascara. It feels like it is waterproof, will not come off when washing my face and is overall a terrible mascara and does not work at all like it used to. No longer thickens, seperates and coats like the previous formula. Will be returning.

Pleasantly surprised with the deep burgundy color. I do put on two coats to get full coverage. Also I can wear this for several hours without my eyes getting irritated.

I've been using this mascara for years, and didn't realize they reformulated it. It flakes even when I just put it on, and the flakes get in my eyes - I consider this a health hazard. Plus, something in it makes my eyes burn. I bought this in a two-pack, and it will just go to waste. Wish they still made the old version - it was great.

Have you changed the formula back yet? As you can see by all of the negative reviews, it was a detrimental mistake to change formula when you have had loyal customers for 20+ years. Now we are all spending money on other brands trying to find our new holy grail mascara when I could have just continued to purchase my monthly tubes of voluminous!! LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS, CHANGE IT BACK!!! I won't be purchasing ANYTHING from Loreal until you fix this horrible mistake!!!

Best mascara, I’ve been using it for a decade, it separates well and builds well. I have thin and sparse eyelashes and this formula is perfect for me.

Please go back to the old formula. I’ve used this mascara for over 25 years. It was my go to, I’d recommend it to everyone. One person asked me if I had false eyelashes on. Then the formula changed and it is awful. I can’t wear it. It doesn’t add volume anymore and it’s really flaky when I remove it and it irritates my eye. I don’t know why you’d change the formula of such a popular mascara. It was perfect the way it was. So disappointing.

It says waterproof when you select the color but it does not say waterproof anywhere on the packaging and IT IS NOT waterproof! I curled my lashes and immediately went straight again when I used the mascara.

The original Voluminous mascara was perfect in every way, made my lashes look long and thick, some mascaras only do one or the other, this one always did both. It’s the only mascara I’ve ever used since my teens and I’m 48. I noticed in the last year or so, (maybe two), that it wasn’t working the same so I finally started trying others sadly. It clumps up now and dries out quickly. Doesn’t separate the lashes or make them look full or long and the texture seems “sticky”. I won’t be buying another tube just to throw it away. Whatever you’ve changed in the formula, you ruined it. Used to the best on the market.

The color doesn't pop

They have changed the formula!! I will not buy this again. It’s no longer easy to remove, and application is not as good as the old formula! This used to be my go to….

I have been using this product for 20+ years. Now it’s absolutely terrible. Not much in the tube and feels dried out. It also flakes off everywhere now. It used to glide on and lashes stayed in place. Now it flakes off in my eyes and lashes are flimsy so I’ve switched to a different brand. Voluminous blackest black used to be the best. I’m so disappointed you changed the formula.

Used to be my holy grail product until the recent formula change on the non-waterproof kind. The new formula smudges, is difficult to remove, and really irritates my eyes and makes them tear up... things that NEVER happened with the old version. Hate to say but I will not be purchasing again. Throwing this tube out. Bring back the original verson!

I was so excited to use this mascara again since it used to be my daily driver. When I applied it, it went on so smoothly and I was so excited for how it made my lashes look. Within 20 minutes I started feeling the burning and itching sensation. I thought I had allergies, so didn’t think to take it off or that it had anything to do with the mascara. When I took it off at the end of the day, the mascara had gotten in my eyes, making the rash and itch even worse. I woke up the next day with my eyes almost sealed shut from the swelling and the itching was so bad. My eye lids were so swollen as well as my under eyes even down to my cheeks and nose. It has been an incredibly uncomfortable 48 hours since I applied the mascara. I finally made the connection that the only new thing in my routine was this mascara so it was 100% sure it was an allergic reaction to this mascara. Based on several reviews/forums online, it sounds like it’s a common occurrence.

This mascara is awful. I've used this in the past, but it's not even close to the same (new formula?). It was clumpy, dry, and made my eyelashes very brittle and break. I thought maybe I bought one that was old, but I looked up reviews and my experience seems to be the consensus.

Used to love this mascara but now can only find it I 9x 11x 15x and it clumps and irritates my eyes. Would love the original back. I would tell everyone it’s the best mascara but now I’m at a loss.

Weights my straight lashes down even after I curled them. Not waterproof as stated on the websites description. This would need ti be waterproof in order to keep my lashes curled.

You claim it's the same original formula, however, the last two batches that I've gotten are a 1000% different and have fibers. It is a shame because your formula was incredible for so many years, did not need the fibers, I don't see a positive difference with the fibers just annoyance on removal and sometimes I just don't want the fibers on my lashes. So no benefit of adding them. please go back to the old formula or revise your marketing accordingly, as it's not the same original formula

Why, why, why would you change the formula? It went from the best tmascara to eh. Please bring the original back!

Very disappointed with the new formula. I have been using this mascara for 20 years, it was perfect. The new formula leaves clumps upon clumps, it’s sticky, difficult to remove, and leaves eyes itchy and burning. Please bring back the old formula!

I love this mascara, I've been using the same kind for at least 20yrs. I've tried other brands and just haven't found one that compares.
